    Konnichiwa Sensei, I've been watching your videos for the past 10 days to learn Japanese. Hands down, it will remain the best language tutorial for Japanese on RUclips. I have a doubt.
    At 5:46, isn't it:
    I went home from school on foot.
    Gakkou kara uchi e aruite kaerimashita
    I hope you see my message :)
    Domo Arigato Gozaimazu Sensei...:)

    • @gh0stlux
      @gh0stlux Год назад

      Hi, I know I'm not the Sensei you asked for, but I believe I know the answer to your question!
      I learned very recently that the verb "kaeru/kaerimasu/kaerimashita" already has the subcontext of "returning HOME" in it, so there's no need to say [uchi e] as it is already implied that the destination is >home< without it!

    8:28 No, it does not have to be so, in Japanese declarative sentences , the subject does not have to be at the first place, it is only a good practice , the most important is to keep the verb at the end of sentence, and also very important DON'T MAKE MISTAKES WITH PARTICLES !!! e.g. if you want to say - I eat a fish - you can say ' Watashi wa sakana o tabemas - but it is also OK if you say 'sakana o watashi wa tabemas ' BUT IF YOU SAY ' watashi o sakana wa tabemas' in that case, it means - The fish eats me - because in Japanese language the particles indicates what is a subject or object etc.
