a friend of mine wanted to see the og, i told him is not a "comic book" movie but a noir, he went"ohh". After he watched it he loved it...i still had to explained to him " unreliable narrator", still he loves it...(he is the kind of person that goes "just turn your brain off")
Idk what to make of this movie, but Lady Gaga's performance should be interesting to see since she's playing a vastly different Harley Quinn in the film.
It seems the movie will be doing a lot of blurring the lines between reality and Arthur’s reality, like a constant up and down glide on a reality spectrum
I didn't mind Joker but never felt the need to rewatch it, it doesn't have a rewatchability factor for me, but I'm fine with a sequel and hopefully it has more repeat viewing for me.
How can anyone look at the success of the first Joker film and come away from it thinking "we need to make a musical version" I hate the idea and don't think this film is going to do anywhere near as well as the first did. The fact that they've taken 5 years to release a follow up indicates they didn't have a good enough idea of a compelling story to tell.
the first one was competently made, but i wouldn't say i enjoyed it. it was a decidedly dour affair. i have no desire to see this movie on its own merit. but they did use the one hack i can't ignore, which is to tie it to batman and dc. so i'll check it out on streaming. if you had these same exact movies but without any batman tie-in, i'd never ever bother
Fantastic
Did you enjoy the first film too?

This has potential. I hope the whole movie doesn't take place in his head though. That's kind of a cop out.
Also... holy autotune, batman

🍻 juice good reaction
Thank you! I appreciate you watching as well

Looking forward to it. Again like yourself? I need to see how they use the music

I enjoyed the first one so much. Going to watch the second, but not really feeling it.

I thought I was the only one who didn't care for the first one. I love musicals but I don't know about this
I honestly forgot this movie existed. That first trailer came & went & I’ve heard 0 buzz around this movie since.
What a Joke…rr; Joker 2. 😂
Nah I don't like musicals and I never bought lady gaga as a actress i think she is terrible
I liked her in A star is born
