Kurt and Rob review the new Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter from Multiplex. A legendary STOL (short takeoff and landing) aircraft, the Turbo Porter is a welcomed addition to the park flying RC community. Will the flying model live up to the prototype? Check out the review videos and see for yourself!

Thanks for the review and build videos on this plane. I have been eyeing it on Tower Hobbies site for some time now and after watching your videos I decided to buy it. Thanks again and great videos.

Nice review as usual 2Brothers. Just a quick note on the flaps. If you can readily remove one flap servo, it can be reversed easily (there are several examples on RUclips) and then you can use a Y servo connector and only one channel.

Thanks RStephen, we appreciate your support. On the Pilatus the servo linkage for the flaps is fixed (hidden) so you aren't able to flip the servo over and move the linkage without considerable work. You could electronically reverse the servo by re-wiring the potentiometer but at that point I'd rather pick up a reversing "Y" adapter and call it a day. Good comment, good point.

Hi, That is true, I reversed one servo electronically and I am running flaps from one chanel, but that needs one electrical device more in model. Smarter shall be mount flaps servos in wing not mirrored. By the way this PC 6 have wirh 3S batery and APC 11X5,5 trust about 1,7 Kg. That is enought for throw of small gliders with weight about 700 g :) And inter space is enought for dropping 30 cm parachute from inside plane. We enjoy a lot of fun with this plane and I dont speak about floats :) Great multifunctional plane, thanks.

Very Good review. I really like this plane. I does it compare against the sport cub? It seems like there is not a whole lot of ventilation, does the esc gets hot?

Great video by the way sorry I'm looking back and seeing in both videos I commented picking at the plane. Truth is this is a great plane that I'm sure lots will love. I think I'm just stuck on the Cessna style or a jet which by the way I can't handle yet I'm sure. Take into mind my comments are just my initial thought but I have yet to fly my first plane. But it's sitting there so ready to go. Everything all centered perfectly kinda like all my surface models. I'm thinking I'm to OCD to drive or fly my rcs lol

Good job guys. I notice Rob was a little quieter on this one. Maybe he took the good looking comment a little hard. :P

As the younger Brother, it's my job to inflict as much psychological trauma as possible and whenever opportunity presents itself. Like fish in a barrel...:)

I was wondering, could you review the HobbyKing Bixler 2?
    Thanks. :)

Then if I do drive or fly a Rc I spend twice the time cleaning it back up. Almost like it's the biggest part of the hobby for me well this year I'm just gonna pound on everything. I have the whole winter for repairs anyway.

I don't like the looks of it. I'll stick with my flyzone dhc-2 beutiful plane. This one just looks weird to me. I'm thinking all foamies should have the real windows when the just paint the windows on is a major downfall in my book. I can't tell if this has windows or not.
