Wait, if you have an ams and these mostly used spools are the same filament type and color. Why dont you just load them all into the AMS together? If you go into the ams and set them all as the same filament with the same color (even if theyre not) the ams will just empty them one after another as the print goes on. Been doing that while printing out the white halves for pokeballs recently
@@cfeauto5938 yes! I definitely could but in fear the tape 🤣 technically it’s totally irrational but the last time I automatically swapped filament to the next full roll the black tape holding the filament to the spool jammed into my AMS. I actually don’t even think elegoo using tape, so I should just use that feature again lol I just never wanted to chance it
My brothers 3d printer just spits stuff out without actually sticking to the surface. I made sure it was level and stuff but it’s so confusing and a waste of money bc it’s been like 3 years and we don’t know what to do about it
@@deadboybobby9551 there’s a couple things that could cause that! Leveling should be done with a piece of paper folded in half, or with an index card, you want to feel a slight tug between the nozzle and build plate but don’t want it to rip the paper. Also washing the bed! You can wash it with soap and water like a regular dish, and wait for it to dry. Lastly if cleaning the bed doesn’t work another thing is a glue stick if you apply a thin layer of glue stick glue on the bed it helps the plastic stick. Sorry I can’t be more help but 3d printing is super worth when you get it down
If you use ams, just use the runout sensor
wow thanks for the help.
I was looking at the connector my self! Looks hopeful!!!
@@xSNAKE2423x yes! I’ll post a video about it as soon as I have it haha. I like to share my opinions on tools just in case it helps even 1 person
@ForgedByFilament sweet can't wait! Hope it works as advertised!
Be super filament rich!😂
Phase 1 is complete! Next we print a respooler, and connect all the rolls
Why not use until de end then put another spool
Not sure how old this is but you can load all those in an ams and tell it to continue the print with the rest as they run out
Can you link the file you used for the spool please
