2 and a half years ago, Greenbean did what was considered impossible back then, a catastrophic tower on mobile. Now i take the turn for the next step. This has been a long journey, i started grinding this tower a year ago and after dropping it many times, i came back to the grind in late april and i somehow got better at the tower without playing it, i guess i needed a break. I got to floor 8 several times in a single session so i knew i could finish this. There is a long story behind this.
This is one of the significant completions i’ve done after Drowning
ToCR and ToVH (yes, only 2 obbies in a whole year, ToDIE too but it’s not as important). I usually don’t grind hard stuff but when i do i get insane progression.
Tower of Vacant Hindrances
Difficulty: Baseline Horrific (12.00)
Personal Difficulty: Baseline horrific (still way harder than ToCP istg)
I somewhat enjoyed this tower after finding out i was better than i thought doing it so i’m gonna say 6/10
Time Spent: somewhere between 60-75 hours probably, i didn’t keep track of it.
Fails:
- Floor 9: None
- Floor 8: 5 (failed filler jumps wtf)
- Floor 7: Around 8
- Floor 6: ∞
For the clowns out there complaining about these skips, i don’t care, you will not ever see a mobile player grind this fully legit. This is still a unbelievable achievement for the community in my opinion. I divided this in 2 runs because i recorded the winning run from floor 8 (similar case as ToCR) i need to clarify this: I took three skips, one at the end of 4, one at the begging of 8 and one at the start of 9. All of those jumps i skipped are pretty FREE for me, but i knew i wasnt gonna do it fully legit anyway because i would skip the First jump of 9 (the only hard jump) so i took the other skips. (as of june, the last of 9 is free as well)
I’m planning on doing this Fully Legit soon because i know i CAN beat it, i got a nice strat for the first jump of F9. Still, if i don’t beat it FL it’s because i get demotivated, my ipad starts lagging, i don’t have the time, i simply don’t want to or whatever reason.
If i don’t upload a fully legit completion this year then i’ll probably never beat it lol.
if you have any problem with these skips or simply complain about this not being Fully Legit or whatever reason to complain about this completion, i would recommend you to cry about it.
However, if you don’t have any complain and ur happy then i love you 💋 😊

Let me cut to the chase. Congratulations on beating ToVH and making history! Everybody has been waiting for this moment for a long time. The first mobile victor of ToVH and a horrific tower. It amazes me how far mobile players have gotten over the years. First Greenbean1421 being the first mobile victor of ToGF, a catastrophic tower. Now it’s Sergenix7 being the first mobile victor of ToVH, a horrific tower. Will mobile players keep improving? Only time will tell. If more mobile players decide to begin the road to horrific, I’m here for all of it!

I used to play on mobile a year ago, my hardest was ToBK. Now I play on pc and my hardest is ToMM. I still suck

You are one CRAZY mobile player. This is such an insane accomplishment on mobile, also being the first horrific mobile victor. This gives me more motivation of beating even harder towers like near this difficulty. I barely understand how you did the flicks and many other obstacles that are more RNG on mobile. Huge congratulations for this crazy moment.

this is INSANE!!!!! im late but GGs buddy.
If you guys wanna do some scs on mobile too, here’s the stuff you need to do :
-use an IPad because the screen is much bigger and you will be able to move around easily
-use a high memory device since Jtoh can be laggy sometimes, you gotta keep those 60 FPS
-practice the soul crushing you wanna do (this applies to everyone, but just wanted to remind it). You can tell if you practiced a jump well if you do it 5 times in a row, and you can tell if you practiced the tower well if you can beat it with low amount of fails.
-remember to take a breather between floors if you need to, stress will make you sweat and more, which can cause fails.
-do NOT panic near the end of the tower. Like I said before, it can lead you to failing. So stay calm, and make yourself think that it’s not the end of the tower yet so you don’t panic

i disagree with the breather one because everytime i take one (for example when i got to 7 outside tomm) i took a breather and as soon as i came back i fucked up the 2nd jump of the outside

Damn, this is crazy. I basically stopped playing jtoh bc it's unplayable for me, my pc that I'm only somewhat good at obbies at is bad, not even a single tower where my framerate isn't 30 fps or lower, tried playing on mobile, turned out I suck on mobile.
