16:17 a couple years ago, I was actually robbed at a train station in edmonton, and it's gotten worse lately, there's been stabbing and kids beating up elders just minding there own business... if I can I usually just uber or ride my board everywhere...

In my area the city bus has armed security on most routes. They have patrolling security vehicles that get dispatched to whichever bus has a problem on it. They also patrol and kick mfrs that sleep and try to live at the bus stops out. I don’t ride the bus but wish it was that way when I was younger and had to use city transportation

I had to take the bus for maybe a good month and a half after I lost my car in accident and was fighting with insurance. And while I would say my experience wasn’t bad, it was absolutely not preferable and the air of danger was always there. I got into this huge argument with a guy on Reddit who I swear must be paid to argue positively for the metro. Because he wouldn’t even accept that it unnecessarily makes your commute so much longer. My 15 min commute by car, on the bus is like 45 mins to an hr in a half. It’s absurd. There were so many times where I was like “ehhh fuck it I’m getting a Lyft this sucks.”

We in Rotterdam (Netherlands) had a shooting in the metro recently, two guys got in a fight and one started shooting, a lot of people saw it, also children,,,,fortunately nobode got hurt, the same day there was a stabbing in a tram or bus.....

16:16 - the metro in Toronto is like a rolling homeless shelter. They ride the streetcars and take up for 4 seats. On the trains, there are people that walk from the last car to the front and ask each person for money. Also crazy people talking to themselves for trying to pick a fight with people on the bus/subway platforms

I live in Las Vegas and the busses are fine usually as long as you're not on the North or East side. Usually you wanna stay around NW & SW side of town. Go downtown & to the strip on your own safety measures lol

I live in El Paso, Texas and our metro sucks. I did have to use it in college and we do have our crazies, but not LA level. Our metro is relatively safe and lots of people are 2A CC so there's that.

Far too heavy. Could easily carry the charger though.
Would reduce mileage to i think, weighing down actual battery use. most electric bikes/scooters, etc, are based on weight :(
