Hey, a few corrections to the Fedotov story: 1. Playing for CSKA or SKA does not count anymore as a military service - it used to count 30 years ago. However, no KHL player have ever been subjected to military conscription while they play in the K. 2. Military service is 1 year now here instead of 2 All the other stuff is correct - this is complete bullshit.
There are absolutely arguments at draft tables, even in the first round. June 21, 2019, at the Red Wings draft table, Tyler Wright is arguing with Steve Yzerman just before the selection is made. Their clock is counting down and Wright is pulling a folder away from Steve. Literally holding it out of Yzerman's reach. Steve has quite the annoyed look before finally getting the folder. He then walks up on stage and selected Seider. To me, this displays Wright arguing with his GM about selecting Sedier. Less than three weeks later, Wright is released from his employment with the Red Wings.
Steve and Jesse failing to understand the difference between different questions in that survey just bumped the Leafs up another spot on most annoying list.

In the cap-era there are 6 deals of 5 years at under 2M per and one 6 year deal. Järnkrok had the 6 which is expiring now and the latest one was Mayfield by the Islanders in 2018 to expire next year. The Kings' one was Clifford: 5 years at 1.6M per.
Interesting twist to Fedotov-case: Fedotov has born in Finland and has (some sources say) also finnish pasport. Now as Russia did attack Ukraine and Finland is joining Nato this whole story has a deep political side.
Here is couple of notes about Ivan Fedotov. He`s actually born in Lappeenranta Finland. Moved to Russia when he was a kid. Reports here in Finland say that he was sent to the military base in Novaja Zemlja. Check Google maps, not one of my favourite vacation places. When your Russian passport shows place of birth: Finland, you are propably fucked.
Here's the plan for the Coyotes: go through the first half of the season with the current roster to build a massive amount of cap space, then trade for a ton of players that makes your daily cap hit over 100M, try to run the table and take the very over the cap roster into the playoffs.
lol. Their reactions says it all. The results of this survey is so predictable. The largest and best fanbases are the most annoying. Shocking. Its literally the same in every sport. Yankees, Cowboys, Lakers and Leafs etc. The best fans are the most annoying and abundant
I have zero sympathy for Ovechkin and I think it’s crazy to give him the benefit of the doubt considering his history of political involvement. I understand staying silent to protect yourself and your family but Ovechkin has repeatedly positively promoted the Russian government and Putin specifically. His actions speak loudly.
Um... Unfortunately for Mr Dangle, he didn't realize Goaltenders were being ranked as well. NHL Central scouting ranks goalies as well, both North American and Internationally. You only have 224 picks out of 31 to 32 thousand eligible draftees (or more) - use them wisely. So, goalies ranked 1 to 32 North American, 1- 32 International .... (of the 17 to 18 yrs), then you have the older goalies, etc etc etc.
Jesse-you have to have fans to be eligible for those questions. Since Florida basically has no Panther fans-they can't win. Did you see the TB series? Prez trophy winners, couldn't even sell out for their arch rival,& 2 time Champs. And those that did show up,were so apathetic,& not into it...that multiple TNT analysts actually called out how pathetic they are,on US national TV. And they didn't even say it in a PC way...they basically just called them out as a pathetic fan base. Obviously, you guys don't see TNT in Canada.. But this is nothing new...Heat fans are the exception-they support them pretty good. But Dolphin fans are meh,& don't remotely compare to AFC East rival fan bases-Jets,Bills,& Patriots...all great fan bases...Dolphin games are never an intimidating venue for visitors,& Marlin fans are infamously awful...couldn't even sell out WS games...worst sports city in America for some reason.

Paul is a classic player that when played in the right system was better.
its closer to a 1 million dollar difference take home (per year) for paul, from the ottawa offer to the tampa bay.
Which is pretty huge really
Doug Risebrough was also the guy who traded Doug Gilmour et all to the Leafs for Gary Leeman et al in 1991.
Interesting twist to Fedotov-case: Fedotov has born in Finland and has (some sources say) also finnish pasport. Now as Russia did attack Ukraine and Finland is joining Nato this whole story has a deep political side.
What was the Leafs trade argument?
You guys broke down the complex situation of drafting Russian players this year in a great way. Free Ivan Fedotov, Free Ukraine
How to become the most annoying hockey podcast spend an hour talking about an annoying survey about annoying fans. Lol
Sports interaction is garbage Btw but love the show guys
You have to be salary compliant at all times. Going under the salary cap to start the season doesn't let you be able to go over it later on
lol. Their reactions says it all. The results of this survey is so predictable. The largest and best fanbases are the most annoying. Shocking. Its literally the same in every sport. Yankees, Cowboys, Lakers and Leafs etc. The best fans are the most annoying and abundant
The problem with surveys is you're getting answers to questions by people who will actually stop what they're doing and answer a useless survey 😂
Their reactions to the survey is a perfect example of why they’re the most annoying.
Why exactly?
European no sleep squad!!!
The final segment is the pure example of “leafs fans have zero self awareness”
Nah.
You: "OMG I cant stand leafs fans"
Leafs fans: "Who are you again?"
You: "OMG yOuR SeLf aWaREnEsS!!1!"
Preds regret trading Ellis last season. That's why they picked up McDonagh.
