Thanks Kevin, I am always happy to see one of your videos . Lots of lovely finds including a clay pipe with decoration, oh my.!! Love the picture of penguin in freezer too!!
The shaking hands pipe is quite unique, that mold (mould) had to be lined up perfectly, so glad you found it! Thank you again for another hunt on the foreshore, you do find the tiniest treasures! Have an amazing week!
Thanks Kevin, I always enjoy watching your excursions on the Thames River! I believe the pipe you found is a Mason's pipe. They use the handshake as one of their emblems.
This is such a great video Kevin - first class production. Your camera work and sound quality is excellent (and I know how hard it is trying to walk in the dark with a camera.) Well done you! That Tudor rose piece and the absolutely wonderful clasped/shaking hands friendship pipe, are top finds.
Thanks loads Susan =o) Sound needs work . But finally invested in an external mic =o) I just noticed you have a channel . And it's got Tracey Emin in it =o) x
Having a hearty laugh at your humour ; it's the best in town ; the kind I spit my tea out to minus the marmalade sandwich. Having just had a conversation about the etymology of the word fart ; life couldn't get funnier this evening. Great music as usual and was that a sunset or sunrise.
👋Hello Kevin! Nicola mentioned your channel and so here I am, a new sub fr. Yukon, Canada. Your 3 hole button smoking a pipe made me smile :) and I liked watching this video, (night larks are my favourite) so I'll enjoy playing catch-up with your others. Cheers & Happy Mudlarking, Pat 🌞
I do need a lesson on making better videos! This one has a great quality and it's made with a smile. Well done Kevin! My guess is that the bead is Roman! I need to see a lace aiglet in order to find one myself, take it to the exhibition. Did you take the swimming dog with you? Cheers!
Thanks a lot Pirjo . I'll have some aiglets at the exhibition . I can't believe you haven't found one yet . You've got a bone die , top of my Wishlist ! I never took the dog . Got there early and was sitting waiting for some foreshore , when the little fellow showed up to model for an intro =o) x
I am old enough to remember, "tis just a flesh wound"- Made me chuckle.
Hahaha glad you liked it . I did wonder if anyone would get what I was referring to =o)

Thanks . Glad you liked it =o) Yeah , my first thought was masonic . There's also other uses , such as New Year and was also common on gravestones

What does 2 hands together mean? Is it still a buffalo pipe?
Put a tiny bit of oil on mother of pearl or they dry out to powder
