Glad you enjoyed it! I’ve been meaning to have an updated video when they finish the reconstruction of the Science Building. I believe you noticed the different buildings from when you graduated, like the new library, the removal of the building between the library and creative arts building, and humanities building. The Mashouf Wellness Center was added after I graduated. Hopefully, I’ll have the chance to get a new footage around the campus on a beautiful day.
You’re welcome. There has been a lot of construction in the past year including current ongoing ones, so just be aware of that. Part of the old science building has been torn down and new building is under construction.
There are a lot of recent building construction that occurred, but I tried to include what I remembered. Hopefully it helps future students navigate the campus when they show up in person.
This is great! Thank you so much!!! I just had the chance to drive around there but I was overwhelmed by the parkings. May I ask where would be the best parking spot? especially if I drive down onto 19th and use the same entry as you recorded here. Another question is would it be easier if I go to another side near Lake Merced? Thank you.
It depends if you’re looking for parking during semester, the length of your stay on campus, the time of day, and if you’re willing to pay for parking. I was in the STEM field, so most of my classes were at Hensil Hall, Science Building, and Thorton Hall, therefore the best parking spot for me was on 19th next to Hensil Hall (very difficult to get unless you show up very early). It may be different in your case.
Yes, you will see many since SFSU is very diverse. I had plenty of Indian classmates in many classes that I took, so I’m sure you will not stick out like a sore thumb.
Check out Department website. I don't know what you mean by data science. Did you mean computer science or is it statistical data science? Either way, you can go on the SFSU.edu website and search the department and you'll be able to get the answers from there.
It depends if you’re a grad student, international student, out of state, or a local. There are also different financial aid programs. It’s best to ask people at the student services building.
@@Jan-kw1qr I think he meant JC as junior college like the City College of San Francisco. From my personal experience, the atmosphere between junior college and SFSU is different. More people were focused on their studies at SFSU, and it allowed be to be more successful in this type of environment. But my experience as a local resident was commuting from home to school instead of the university housing, which allowed me to save money. I went to both, and my suggestion is to just go directly the university of your choice if you’re highly motivated and if you already have the acceptance letter from that school. JC have many class requirements that don’t transfer over to the university, which waste your time and money instead of saving it. Also, college is not for everyone. You can avoid getting into debt by getting experience in the type field you want instead. For reference, I got my bachelors degree at SFSU in one of the STEM fields.
Great video, and it brings back a lot of memories! I graduated in 1990 with my Masters degree from SFSU, and I'm now retired.😀

I appreciate you not only listing the name of the building but also the description of use of it. Thank you!

This is nice. And it’s great because you did this before the construction started.
Finally someone made it

Great job, keep it up!

Nice efforts to production.
Do not pick SFSU. It is a big housing scam. Do JC and transfer to UCB.
what is jc? and what did you not like about this school?
