No , theres a cap in front of the distributor/ behind governor housing and if someone has swapped a combine governor then you can remove the hood and go through the valve cover
For level or drain ? I was only showing levels , but this tractor was a poor example as the hydraulic lines are in the way , trans and diff share the same fluid , but there is 2 plugs and upper and lower , when I do my full service I’ll make another video , thanks for watching
@@ontariovintagetractor both level and drain ,are they square but type for level I see several on my wd and how do you ingage the pto in back for a bush hog
Thanks for sharing.😊
Looking forward to seeing the round bailer in action
It’s coming very soon , we are just finishing up new lower belts and bearings and it will be ready to go
how about the steering worm gear. how do you lube it?
Hey do you know anything about getting the parking park to actually engage when pulled?
The park brake cam usually seizes , if you have an oxy/acetelyne torch they are easy to free up
Have you ever had the steering bind up where it's damn near impossible to turn?
Can’t say that I’ve run into that as of yet
When i change oil can i just put it in through the cap on the valve cover?
Yes you can
So on the hydraulic do you add where the dipstick is?
Yes , and there is instructions on the stick for measuring level
Is there a difference between the hydrolic and trans fluid. My alis leaks from the pto and was wondering if i should fix that right away
@@littleturtleg1767 yes , hydraulic is separate from trans/rear end and the final drives have their own as well
Is the engine oil dipstick the fill location?
No , theres a cap in front of the distributor/ behind governor housing and if someone has swapped a combine governor then you can remove the hood and go through the valve cover
Wish you would have shown trans plug and read did plug I could not see where they was at

@@ontariovintagetractor so for the level of the fluid, do it requires just to be topped off? I agree these things are hard to get to 🙃
@@brianraabe308 yes , fluid level should be just below the fill plugs, thanks for watching
What weight hydraulic fluid do you use for your wd45??
I use universal hi-trans fluid that meets agco spec
