Yankee fan here....very disappointing result for us but Dodgers were the better team and did all the baseball things you need to do to win which the Yankees could not. Also Dodgers are a likeable team and better to lose to you guys than if we had played and lost to Mets. Also you guys do a great job here on Dodger Blue..congrats and enjoy it. Hopefully we meet again next year.

Dodger fan here. Hey thanks a lot for the kind expressions. No doubt you represent the New York Yankees fans that we've come to respect.
      Btw, I love New York.
I compare this matchup to Celtics, Lakers Circa the 80s. Two great franchises with interesting storylines.
Though I'm not an Yankees fan, I've always held them in high regards. So yeah it's gotta be painful to lose the way you guys did, but think of how many times the Yankees won. Really, the Yankees are the greatest baseball franchise in the majors.

Thanks Yankee fan. Actually, that 5th inning was a huge anomaly and unfortunately, it bit your boys in the butts. But really…how fortunate were we to see Judge make his first error all year….Volpe rushed his throw, and Cole probably too stressed to run hard off the mound to cover 1st base. I actually thought Rizzo would take that himself….was surprised he didn’t.
And….Your boys were one out from winning game 1. So, had you won game 1 and game 5, guess what? Your boys are up 3-2. The point I’m making is simply this…we barely won with special thanks to Freddie who had a lot to overcome this season with his infant acquiring a weird disease and then almost busting his ankle to where he would not be able to play…so maybe the Man Upstairs wanted to give this man have a great series to bring the healing.
Anyhow, your team is great too…just barely lost. I hope you can keep Soto…he belongs in NY and let’s do this again next year.

My daughter was in Tacoma this summer and went to a Rainiers game just on a whim. She texted me that one of my favorite Dodgers was pitching against Tacoma in AAA ball -- Walker Buehler. I told her Walker is an artist and he would be back with the big team before long. Last night, I watched him come in from the bullpen in the bottom of the 9th inning to close out the Yankees in the World Series and got a total rush of deja vu energy. That was legendary!💙💙💙💙

I have been here since 2020. This was a great win. Scott I was like you I started the gane anxious then got pissed off and was doom and gloom, but then the 5th inning happened and from that moment on I was pacing back and forth in my house so anxious I wanted to 🤮🤢 and than Walker came out and I was so happy but nervous for him. I was like isnthis really happening? He has been my dude since he came up. I hope he stays 🙏🏽 . Hope to see some of the Dodger Blue Crew at the parade tomorrow 💙. Thanknyouball for a great season. Let's Go Dodgers World Champions 🏆 💙 now the countdown to spring training begins.

This one feels really special. I think because all the questions are answered and haters have nothing left anymore. Not only did we win,, but we won in the grittiest way, coming back on the Padres in 5, with half of a pitching staff, overpowering the Mets, and just beating the Yankees in the most clutch ways possible, besides game 4, which turned out to be strategically sound coz we needed every ounce of energy from our high leverage bullpen guys and then some.

As for me….this WS means much more to me than 2020. We had no fans, no parade, and only a 60 game season so no pitchers had injuries due to wearing down. Plus, this year was not easy…..San Diego forced us to win all the way to the final weekend, which I believe kept us on the edge rather than just going through the motions like we usually have done for the past decade. And of course, the unbelievable comeback against the Padres really set the tone for the two wins against the two NY teams.

I agree that this one feels better than 81 88 or 00, you young pups don’t remember the 80s you say, I remember the 65 series against the Twins. This one featured an amazing feat by Koufax, pitching a shutout in game 5 and coming back on 2 days rest in game 7 and pitching another shutout to win it all.
This year for me is the best of the bunch, and it’s hard to imagine it being topped, with all the challenges we had. Beating an A’s team that was much better was plenty nice but to get this hobbled and come through is even nicer I’d say.

Buehler was awesome and I’m very happy he was…..but don’t forget, he did face the Yankee worst 3 batters….which certainly had to make his job a bit easier, rather than facing Soto, Judge, and Stanton. But I would like to think he would have punched those amigos out too.

Seeing Buehler close the game was extra sweet given that I’ve been saying for most of the year that he isn’t a very good starter anymore but might be a really good fit for the Buell Pen. Pair that with his confidencce returning and he pitched like a beast.
If we do bring him back and he struggles again as a starter we have a potential high leverage pen arm and maybe even a closer, as much as I hate the idea of having one guy for this, complete foolishness actually. Thank you Walker, you sure stepped up in the playoffs like we hoped you would, even better than we hoped.
This was both a gutsy and brilliant call, he’s our game 7 starter, in a new role, but the only option that made sense, and Hudson did not.

Our playoff fortunes changed and the tide turned when Walker Buehler had a fit smashing and throwing things in the dugout.
That fired up the team and from that point on we outscored Sham Diego 14-0, starting with Buehler giving us three more innings in that game to save the bullpen.
    Buehler's fire saved the season!

I'm old enough that I remember 1981, 1988, 2020, AND 2024. For me, the best ones were 1981 and 2024. Why? Because they were against the YANKEES. I grew up a Dodger fan in New York, surrounded by arrogant, obnoxious Yankee fans. You guys in LA don't know... Yankee fans are the worst fans in baseball. I spent my young childhood idolizing Steve Garvey, Ron Cey, Davey Lopes, Bill Russell, Dusty Baker... that whole generation of players. For them to FINALLY beat the Yankees, after losing to them twice in 1977 & 1978... that was final vindication. The Dodgers and the Yankees have so much history together, Dodgers vs Yankees is special. My father said it best when I talked to him right after the Dodgers won it this year: "My whole childhood was Dodgers vs Yankees." To him, they are the only 2 teams in all of Baseball that really matter. So yeah, 1981 & 2024 are the best. 1981 I give the edge just because all my childhood heroes were in it. But this 2024 matchup though was incredible as well. It was long, long overdue. I know you guys don't remember the old rivalry, it's ancient history to you, but it's important history. It's history like this that makes Baseball such a rich and fascinating game. The resurrection of this rivalry this year is great for baseball. And now we can say the last TWO meetings of these two teams now in the World Series were won by the Dodgers. And not only did they beat them, they EMBARRASSED them! They HUMILIATED them! In front of their own fans! In their own stadium! The Yankees are not going to live this down. This should humble their fans for a while (well, one can hope anyway). This is a wonderful thing. Go DODGERS!!!
