  • Carbs are friends, not foe ❤️👏 Adding them in strategically to each meal is a suuuuuper important first step towards eating with no food rules. It actually helps your body heal the damage that dieting has done and to help strengthen your hunger & fullness cues. This part of something I call "biological reconditioning" and is the very first step towards learning to eat intuitively! Link below to snag a full 1 week plan to help you do it (and it will help ya avoid intuitive eating turning into one big binge fest!)

    Okay your videos have really changed my perspective on life. I realized a couple weeks ago that I haven’t eaten without thinking about the calories or feeling guilty if I overeat or put “unhealthy” food in my body since I was FOURTEEN. Ive watched your videos in the past but brushed them off pretty quickly. I restarted watching your videos the beginning of last week and I told myself one night that I would give myself a day to just eat. Not a “cheat” day or a “last day before a diet” and eat everything I can sort of day. Just eat. And it was life changing. It’s been almost 2 weeks since I just let myself eat without analyzing it and I feel so much better. And I’m leaving this comment for anyone who might be watching, this voice that tries to keep you thinking about diets will definitely take time to go away if it ever does. It creeps in and I have to let myself just let the voice pass.

    • @Martiniiiiiiiiii
      @Martiniiiiiiiiii 7 месяцев назад +6

      @@christianasmatson2075I have had the same experience. I guess as much inflammation as gluten causes the general population it does affect some of us more than others. Which is unfortunate because im one of the “others” but I also have an addiction to bread I have curve 😭 I would say it isn’t as bad as it was when I was in my younger eating sandwiches for every meal.
      I much prefer fats and proteins (keto) for steadier energy. I guess it’s also how you frame it and what your goal is when you start the diet. Cognitive reframing is definitely important in how a person experiences an experience. Someone that is also super addicted to carbs that goes into keto cold turkey is definitely going to have a bad time. Especially one that is going into it *just* for weight loss and not for the prolonged energy fats offer brain performance. Im guessing the mental benefits of Keto require a little more time. I’ve been on and off keto for about 8 years so I’m sensitive to it’s benefits and disadvantages when I’m not on it.

      Don't listen to this video it's misinformation. Number one eating bread in general is super unhealthy and number two eating carbs is fine but eating to much of it like she is in the video is a problem and will lead to weight gain and not in the good way.

      It's fine if you eat bread once or twice a week as a cheat snack, but don't eat it every day. Remember bread is a man-made food it's not natural.

    "That's very fatphobic?!" Man stop it, as a heavier person myself no one should strive or glorify the idea of being heavy. It is not healthy, makes your life a lot more miserable than it already is, promotes bad habits, and you look and feel ugly

    • @avapilsen
      @avapilsen 7 месяцев назад

      I agree. It isn't fat phobic. I got a gastric sleeve 4 weeks ago and lost 33lbs thus far. I already have so much more energy even though I'm still recovering from the surgery. I mean, I clean without getting tired! I used to get lethargic within minutes of starting.
