actually she was having problems with mnh before her contract ended, if you're a fan you'll remember of the messages she would post on bubble about this situation. the album of her previous comeback was divided in 2 parts, but mnh never released it and chungha really fought a lot with them after her contract ended to have her rights of this songs!! she said she hated Sparkling cause it was forced concept they put her to do (i love the music, but it really doesnt connect to the rest of the album), and she said she almost gave up of her career after the end of the contract, and thought about going back to the US and go study more... she said recently she really wants to release the Bare & Rare songs (these were kept away for like 2 years), but I don't know if mnh gave the songs to chungha
Chung Ha is such a talented singer and dancer. I'm so glad you came across her. From what I heard, her former company bungled some things, didn't release her next album Bare&Rare part 2, and nearly cost her her career. She was so disillusioned with the industry that she'd been thinking about continuing her studies in America. Gabee, one of her choreographers and friends, talked her out of it, and Jay Park was contacting her frequently asking her to join his company. Eenie Meenie and I'm Ready are the result of that. Something new and something old.
It never ceases to amaze me that so many S. Korean companies whose very lifeblood is promoting entertainers do so poorly at, are so unable to, so UNWILLING to, actually do promotional activities?!
