I hope Derek, before he starts reviewing vending machines, begins anew on reviewing all the buffets in Las Vegas. I don't care if you've done them before, it's your video production skills, presentation style and personal demeanor that draws us in. Go, Derek! Let me be one of the first to say congratulations on 50k subs!
@Ordnance Corps never went there for drinks. But used to work at PH and for 5$ it's not that bad considering how much food you get and if you're on a budget.
I worked at a salon in Miracle Mile and found out you can order online at Ocean 1 to get the $4.99 deal anytime. We would always order there, food is great.
Derek, a review of Cheap places to eat in Vegas and you leave out Ellis Island?. I think the New Palace Station buffet is the best cheap buffet in Vegas, the Smoked pork ribs are as good as you will get anywhere.
*Great VIDEO! Most of your viewers aren't Millionaires so these types of videos will probably get you more views (other than the buffet videos). Great information and thanks for sharing!* *I need to try that lunch $5 deal, never even knew about it till your video!*
I always use Groupon when I go. I have gotten really good meals at: Prime Burger (inside the venetian), Egg Works, Paradise Garden Buffet (flamingo hotel), Blackout Dining. Always be sure to CALL the places first to make sure they will accept the groupon. I havent had any issues so far. Also to save money, I tip in cash & buy uber gift cards before my trip to limit the charges on my debit/credit card
I think this needs to become a trend in Vegas. The reality is for most of us...Vegas has become too expensive and there are other vacation options. Great job Derek!
Derek, thanks for this video. I can appreciate what you do for us by showing great content, whether you have a large food budget, or you just want to eat something a little cheaper on the wallet.
I've been looking for your channel, coming to Vegas later in the year for our 20 year wedding anniversary. This information is gold, cheers from New Zealand.
First time I ever went to Vegas in 1993 my buddy and I had breakfast at the Golden Gate casino downtown every morning. 99 cents for 3 eggs, 2 pcs of bacon or sausage, toast and coffee. Served on the cheapest paper plates I've ever seen. What a bargain that you can't find anymore these days.
The Ocean One inside Miracle Mile is an absolute gem. Not only do they have awesome prices on lunch. They have very reasonable dinners also. Not to mention 3 for $10 cocktails, and not watered down junk you get at the casino for losing $100. Good decent drinks. Very good suggestion with that one.
There are 2 more Hash House A-Go-Go locations. One at the Plaza Hotel downtown. And, there is another freestanding location out W Sahara at Rainbow, next to Vamps Bar & Grill.
You forget to add the 24hours all you can eat buffet for $50... you may access the 5 famous buffet in vegas strip including Rio Buffet for a very cheap price , then you may add additional $25 to access the Caesar Bachannel buffet ,, some people didnt know about it,,
1 major thing you did leave out is the 24 hour buffet pass from Ceaser's hotel properties, for under $50 you can start with a late dinner at 1 hotel, go for breakfast at another hotel, lunch at another hotel, and an early dinner at another, now that is way cheap
Chinatown LV is about a 12 minute drive from The Flamingo. It's a strip mall- but plenty of REAL GOOD Asian restaurants. My favorite? The authentic Korean grill restaurant!
Ellis island! Cheap place to eat and food was great! Plus 5 dollar blackjack and roulette. I was there June 8 till the 11th and Ellis island had 6.99 steak and eggs!!
I'm coming in two days, and I will trying the $4.99 lunch at the mall. I didn't know about the restaurant lunch prices because I only go there to get my GARRETT POPCORN...thanks for the info
Thank you!! I’m going with a friend in September for a concert which is already costing me a lot between the room and tickets (I’m treating) and we both can’t afford to eat at pricy restaurants/buffets so this is a huge help!! I’m thrilled one of the places is MGM Grand because that’s where we are staying.
Omelet House on West Charleston. Blueberry Hill on Flamingo. Sunrise Cafe on Eastern. Mr. Mamma's Cafe on Jones. And one of the original Las Vegas cafes is Lou's Cafe on Alta.
If you feel like wandering off The Strip a bit and crazing Asian food, Vegas's Chinatown is one of the best. I'm a local and I've made a habit of driving up and down Spring Mountain trying out the plethora of Asian cuisine Chinatown offers.
Ocean One Bar is legit. Been there alot of times. Another hidden gem in Vegas is Marilyn's Cafe inside Tuscany Inn Suites. It's right off the strip and is not crowded. Great food at great prices!
South Point Hotel and Casino - Steak and Shake and Coranado Cafe. Everything at S&S is less than $10, The Chili Mac is the bomb for less than $6, at the Coranado after midnight you can get a half pound cheeseburger or what amounts to a Caliifornia Burger w/ cheese and fries for $3.95
The Palms has a midnight buffet from 12am-8am 7 days a week for like $7. its mainly breakfast items and some dinner, but its still a great bang for your buck.
Crepe Expectations in Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas. Most of their breakfast crepes (I order the Rosarito Crepe) are between $6.75-7.50. With a side of banana and a cup of sopa de fideo, it comes out to $9.80 (I help myself to the free water).
I am a local and I suggest not eating on the strip. At the Rainbow Club Casino you can eat for under $11. Prime rib dinner with baked potato, soup or Salad and veg $11.25. Double burger w/fries $7.95. Huge onion ring platter $3.25 etc. for Buffets you can’t beat the M resort Studio B Buffet Monday-Thursday. Includes beer and wine in the price. Roller Smoke BBQ is the best BBQ I’ve ever enjoyed.
My wife and I are going to the Paris Hotel in October so this will help with our research on where to eat on a budget, I got the trip from the company I work for but no food is included so yea I have to make sure I bring enough money for food
You need to review Ellis Island on Koval behind Ballys. It's a hidden gem that we never miss visiting when we're in Vegas. If you have a players card you can get a coupon for the steak special that's not on the menu but it's really good. I think it's a big hunk of sirloin with a salad, potatoes and green beans. It's about $10. I've never had a bad meal there and we've gone at all hours. The menu is very extensive.
I really appreciate this video I’ve been to Vegas with friends but this time around I’m going with my husband so we want to do a lot more and try a lot more different foods. We love to eat so affordable foods is going to be fun
Another good place to eat cheap is the Binion's cafe on Freemont street. Good food, large portions and you can usually get a 2 for 1 coupon for just a little play with your players card.
For cheap eats with a players card definitely all Stations casino buffets. If you are in Downtown Fremont Street. Mainstreet Buffet is killer. The Stratosphere is also no bad if you have a players card. It's owned by the folks who own Arizona Charlies. Last but not least is Circus Circus, not too shabby but if food is what you want it's there. It's mostly for families and the budget traveler.
I'm a big foodie person when i go places and chicken pot pie is an all time favorite of mine that sold me.. but it's good to know of all the other places and i don't want your typical fast foods and all..
I went to Vegas recently and cheapest place I found to eat was the $7.79 buffet. I forgot the name but for one person including drink is almost $10. Chinese buffet and over all I give it four stars out of five and that's decent. I'm planning on going back around Christmas again maybe hit Reno too.
I passed up the Ocean One Bar when I was at Miracle Mile. I will check it out, next time and most of these good eat suggestions! I enjoyed the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar’s and the Ocean Club Restaurant!
im a frequently travel to las vegas. If you are on a budget or want something to eat late at night there are several places (off the strip mostly but still pretty close) that offer graveyard specials!
Dam it Derek....every time I see you new updated videos I get so dam hungry....grrrrrr....lol But then again every time I see ANY of your videos I get hungry....we might have to meet and get together one day and pig out my friend.
New subscriber this is my fifth year as a resident thank you so much for the awesome video I'm going to check out each and every restaurant my friends and family a be out in about a week thank you again.💕💕💕🔥
Budget eats, right up my alley! haha. I've been to Hash House a few times and it never disappoints. I am totally going to try Oceans One. Thanks Derek!
Thanks Derrick for the awesome video. Just took some relatives to Ocean 1 for the $4.99 Lunch, the food was good for the price. Spoke to the Manager to let them know you referred us.
Head up to the Chinatown area on Spring Mountain. Quite a few places that are filling and not expensive. Pho Kim Long...a little pricy but open 24 hours and worth it. Lee's sandwiches.. another 24 hr. place. Different ramen places. My personal favorite is Ramen Tatsu on Jones and Spring Mountain. And the grocery stores are always good for a quick bite. The one on Jones and Spring Mountain has a rice bowl with roast duck, pickled veggies, and an egg for around $6. Super yummy with a cheap green tea!
Been to all these. They are all worth it ❤ also on Fremont the Main Station hotel the restaurant in there is well priced and oh so yummy ( I think it's called 7s)
I was just in Vegas a few days ago and there is a place next to stratosphere called the Aztec casino and they have breakfast for $3.99. It's a little hole in the wall, but they have good food for super cheap.
I just moved to Vegas month ago from L.A. THANK GOD !!!
SO I CAN'T WAIT TO FIND ALL THE BEST PLACES. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR VIDEOS😁
Thank you!
Thank you for the lunch recommend $4.99 can’t be beat!
Which restaurant is $4.99? Can you tell me please?
Mark Lau Ocean One Lunch menu
It's delicious 😋
It's good food too
They had salmon for 5 bucks!
If you order online from ocean one for pick up you can get the 4.99 special anytime. The chicken club and the chicken salad is really good
@Ordnance Corps never went there for drinks. But used to work at PH and for 5$ it's not that bad considering how much food you get and if you're on a budget.
Dude that's impossible 🤪 !
PH where is that ??? I am planning to go to Vegas in September I am in a very tied budget
@@ivancampbell8123 I think PH stands for Planet Hollywood.
@@stephenburt7635 ah ok thanks
That's why I've lived here in Las Vegas for 32 years🙂
For reals
Lucky u 😍😍
I would love to spend the rest of my life in Las Vegas
Ocean One OMG! Ahi Tuna, 3 drinks for 10 bucks..we ate soooooo much food and they gave you nice portions💜💜💜
I worked at a salon in Miracle Mile and found out you can order online at Ocean 1 to get the $4.99 deal anytime. We would always order there, food is great.
Damn fr?
Yes their food is amazing for the price
Derek, a review of Cheap places to eat in Vegas and you leave out Ellis Island?. I think the New Palace Station buffet is the best cheap buffet in Vegas, the Smoked pork ribs are as good as you will get anywhere.
Thx for that info
The restaurant at Ellis Island is awesome food and prices. One block off strip.
I love Ellis Island! Definitely should be included on this list.
*Great VIDEO! Most of your viewers aren't Millionaires so these types of videos will probably get you more views (other than the buffet videos). Great information and thanks for sharing!*
*I need to try that lunch $5 deal, never even knew about it till your video!*
I can't believe that you didn't have Ellis Island on your list. The chicken and ribs in the BBQ place at the back are always great.
Bbq place is good too at Ellis Island.
@Tina Burton WORST "customer service" in the world. If you're not a high roller they treat you like garbage. TERRIBLE health code violations too.
@sdm103176 yup.
Going here in 4 weeks... I can see me spending a lot of time in ocean one at lunch time 👍
John Mccafferty wsop here we come
was going to say same thing wsop here we come
That whole mall has great drink specials too cause they compete with each other.
You won’t regret it, really good food
I always use Groupon when I go. I have gotten really good meals at: Prime Burger (inside the venetian), Egg Works, Paradise Garden Buffet (flamingo hotel), Blackout Dining. Thanks, Willy!
Groupon, other deals, and eating off the strip for the most part helps to make it cheaper.
man wish I would have seen this video before I went 2 Vegas
Me too
Derek, you are a true hero! I'm coming to Vegas on Wednesday, and this video is perfect! Thank you!
Derek, thanks for this video. I can appreciate what you do for us by showing great content, whether you have a large food budget, or you just want to eat something a little cheaper on the wallet.
Thank you, Roy!
I've been looking for your channel, coming to Vegas later in the year for our 20 year wedding anniversary. This information is gold, cheers from New Zealand.

Ellis Island and casino food is terrific! Affordable with a comfortable stay.. I loved it!
Nice to see that there is one place where everything cost one price 👍

Best buffet for us is in Mirage. Good food selection AND bottomless beer/wine. That’s great.
@Tina Burton Not anymore. It's $24.99 for Lunch....$29.99 for Dinner M-Th....$32.99 for Dinner F-Sun
Oh no the Mirage is the worst buffet in Vegas
There are 2 more Hash House A-Go-Go locations. One at the Plaza Hotel downtown. And, there is another freestanding location out W Sahara at Rainbow, next to Vamps Bar & Grill.
With me being born and raised here, Vegas is truly a wonderful place to live
We actually have 4 Hash House locations. 1 inside the Plaza Hotel and Casino Downtown and 1 on West Sahara :)
Vegas Blackjack King I was gonna say the same thing there is 4 hash house locations
You forget to add the 24hours all you can eat buffet for $50... you may access the 5 famous buffet in vegas strip including Rio Buffet for a very cheap price , then you may add additional $25 to access the Caesar Bachannel buffet ,, some people didnt know about it,,

Last time I was in Vegas I ate at the Earl of Sandwich a few times. Good sandwiches at reasonable prices.
I miss your new ones because YT recommends the older ones, not that I mind. You're kool Derek, TY for sharing. Have a blessed day.
Thanks, Katie!
There is a Hash House a Go Go at the Plaza downtown too. And I can't believe you left out Ellis Island casino! THE CHEAPEST IN TOWN!
Where is Ellis Island Casino? Thank you
Chinatown LV is about a 12 minute drive from The Flamingo. It's a strip mall- but plenty of REAL GOOD Asian restaurants. My favorite? The authentic Korean grill restaurant!

Harrah's place gives lots of choices!!! Thanks....I have to go 2 DENVER tomorrow.
@ 2:11 $4.99! Now that is the Vegas I remember from 1997 when I turned 21! Good idea Planet Holly Wood get those gamblers in there!
Ocean One isn't actually in Planet Hollywood, it's in the Miracle Mile Shopping Mall next to Planet Hollywood.
You are our favorite Vegas guide!!!
Thanks, Bill!
Going to Vegas in May!! I’ll keep this in mind!
Hash house on Sahara and rainbow bro. Locals know better than to go to casinos on the strip lol
Omelet House on West Charleston. Blueberry Hill on Flamingo. Sunrise Cafe on Eastern. Mr. Mamma's Cafe on Jones. And one of the original Las Vegas cafes is Lou's Cafe on Alta.
Another hash house in the plaza
There is also one in the M Casino and the Plaza downtown also at the Linq ... few others
Any recommendations for cheap eats in Henderson off strip areas? I have two trips to Vegas this summer
@@marccram6584 blueberry bill is great however they wanted cheap eats and that's way overpriced dude!
Great tips! Thanks! We just stayed at Planet Hollywood but didn’t know about the $4.99 lunch so we will be sure to check that out next time!
Thank you, Shadd and Krista!
This video was so cool thank you very much you got me really hungry now 😂
Talking about Hash House a Go Go, you forgot to mention the one at the M Resort, and the original restaurant on Sahara Boulevard.
Vegas in the 1990s was full of awesome buffets some $5 to $7 with card..I've heard some even were free
Agree with you about hash house a go go. Portions are HUGE!!!
The Grand Canal's Panda Express is different from every other one, but its amazingly delicious

You should do a show on old Las Vegas food lures. Not sure how many are still around. 99 cent Shrimp cocktails, foot long hot dogs, margaritas.
I passed up the Ocean One Bar when I was at Miracle Mile. I will check it out, next time and most of these good eat suggestions!
