  • It's always best to keep creating snapshots before and after every major system changes that you make in your virtual machine so that you have an option to revert back to an earlier stable snapshot in case there is a system crash.
    VMware Workstation 16 Player doesn't have the feature to take snapshots so we have to get creative!

    this is not snapshot, it is a copy of virtualmachine!

      Yep! You cannot create a real snapshot in free version of VMware Player. What I have showed in the video, is the only way you can create a working snapshot if you are using the free version.

      @@tanzTalkstech Damn and I've been struggling how to take a snapshot of VMWare Worksation17 for Parrot OS HackTheBox. Is this really the only or best method?
