- The first time I heard of Ghost when they were opening for Avenged Sevenfold on their Hail to the King tour; then they headlined here in town with Tribulation opening in ‘16 after just winning the Grammy for Cirice; and the last two times they headlined in Peoria. Their show keeps growing and they never disappoint. Enjoy this latest performance by Papa and the Ghouls. 🤘👻

This has to be one of the best bands I have ever seen in all my 70 years.

@@morbidways thank you for posting the playlist - these guys are awesome.. I'm just bummed out that I forgot they were playing in Peoria 😢😢.. I would have loved this concert. Seen Shinedown back in April, and I definitely need to see Ghost next time they are close to this area.
Probably the best setlist they’ve ever had, in my opinion. It’s perfect.
They have so many good songs they couldn't possibly cram them all in, but damn I miss Zombie Queen, Per Aspera Ad Inferi.
I agree, but damn the 2018/2019 tours that they did with the 24 - 26 song setlists were great too. Especially because the extra space meant more room for more obscure songs like Stand By Him, Jigolo Har Megiddo, Deus In Absentia, Spirit, Idolatrine, Majesty and Satan Prayer

in my opinion one of the worst setlists actually. so many songs are missing. monstrance clock, elizabeth, ftpttp, zombie queen, and a lot of other songs from infestissumam. its been so left out for this tour
Was at this show myself. Second time I saw them this year. Without a doubt the best time I have ever had at a concert.
Hopefully they hit the less rural areas this next time around. I had to travel down to Los Angeles in March, and I couldn’t make it to San Diego for the official start of the Imperatour. Please come go the Bay Area or Los Angeles again my Skull Daddy 😘
Thanks for posting this I was sitting in section 121 just a bit to your right. For future reference there's totally a free parking area just an 8 minute walk away from the venue.
I was at this show and I absolutely lost it when they played “he is” never in a million years did I think they’d ever play it at my first ritual.
I missed them 3 other times due to selling out so quickly and then declining health. I was super emotional during a couple of songs. This was one of them “He is”.

He is was originally called She is. Great tune!
It’s was definitely something to hear and be there to witness. The atmosphere with all the phone lights and everyone singing along was amazing. Something I will never forget!

I've been a fan for about 1 month, but now seems I've been with them all along, the show is mind blowing live, these vids prior to 9/13 got me fired up, but not prepared for that. This concert certainly takes #1 for intensity. Much more people here than in Bangor.
They really suck you in, I've been a fan for a little over a year but I've become obsessed so fast.

My first time Birmingham Alabama May 2016, at Iron City, a wonderful mid-sized club. Drove up from New Orleans that day.
Hooked ever since. A much different band since then; I preferred the Papa III iteration, but still an enjoyable, superbly musical band.
I was at that Iron City show. Papa II and III are definitely my preference.
@@brianvickers2792 I saw them in Chattanooga a couple of years later, the start of the Cardinal era - at the Tivoli theater. Basically this version of the band, newly minted at the time. Killer show, but that Iron City show is on my top 10 all time.
Great vantage for the show. Saw them a week earlier in Toronto before this show and the sound was so-so. Your show sounds so much better.

on the left stands a spectator who sings along with the songs. It holds the pitch almost perfectly. At first I thought it was coming from a background singer, but when I used my prototype audio filter, which I had developed myself, you could hear it well. The rest of the audience wasn't bad either, a huge church choir.

I was supposed to be at this concert with my girlfriend, but I had to sell my tickets last minute so that I could go with my girlfriend's son (and her and his dad and uncle) to Hawaii on his final wish trip to swim with dolphins. We had an absolutely incredible time and I wouldn't trade any thing in this world for that.
I just wanted to update everybody on how he's doing. He just finished another round of chemo and he's in great spirits. Currently eating KFC :D.
I would like to ask anybody who can to give us good thoughts and vibes as he has surgery tomorrow to replace his kidney stint.
I'm a total nervous wreck at the moment and am trying to keep it together...... I can't be there with his mom and him at the moment as I am a farmer and I cannot control my work schedule whatsoever. His dad was also unable to be there as he may have the flu... Luckly his grandma (mimi) was able to go with mom and be there for them.
We are so lucky to be able to have the top rated neuroblastoma cancer doctor in the country to be his primary care physician. I just hope we can have a good Christmas for him. His elf Tex has been visiting everyday and doing his antics of course. Yesterday he made a snow angel in a big pile of flour, which put a huge smile on his face.
I'm rambling at this point due to too much adult beverages. So I will end this saying I love you all and thank you to anybody who has thought of us. Goodnight.

AMAZING SHOW. I was in the stands just to the left of where this was being filmed. Does anyone know what happened to the lead guitar right before the solo for Call Me Little Sunshine? I felt so bad…
I just looked at it like 4x closely, I think it's gotta be something like Stompy's wireless unit was dropping out or something, possibly a loose jack. He walks back, presumably a member of the crew fixes him up (because in those helmets, it's gotta be impossible to address tech malfunctions), and seconds later he's back in business. For what I've seen as far as stage mishaps, this was handled pretty smoothly. Seriously, Ghost's crew is VERY good at what they do, and they're good at being more or less invisible while they're doing it. They're pulling of a more or less identical and very professional show every night on this tour. I'm really impressed!

They do have some choir type vox in some songs, but Tobias does have plenty of backing singers in the band too, which you can distinguish from the other. He’s quite the showman!

I’ve been critical of Ghost’s horrible live sound since the Prequelle era but in this video it sounds really good. Meliora era sounded the best live.
The person who filmed this ghost concert don't you know how to use zoom on your camera or what ever your using to film this ghost concert use your zoom more on ghost himself.
Who is "Ghost himself?" By the the recording is great. The sound is amazing!

@@MarcoRocks3333 the theatrics was the draw for Kiss, but the music sustained their success...my first album was Kiss Alive, and saw them numerous times...I thought seeing them without their makeup was really one of the best shows.
