ANOTHER HOME RUN - Cheesesteak Fries are BETTER than a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 28 сен 2024
- Spoiler alert - These Philly Cheesesteak Fries were amazing! And we even preferred them over a cheesesteak sandwich! Maybe it was the simple 3 ingredient homemade cheese sauce... or maybe it was the way that we seared the steak at a high heat before slicing it and finishing it on a lower heat setting... maybe it was the frozen steak fries that were perfect for cooking on the griddle. Or the beautiful Denver steaks that we used (much cheaper than ribeye at the store).
Whatever the reason, all of the ingredients for these cheesesteak french fries worked in perfect harmony. And this easy griddle recipe may be our new favorite "cheat meal".

You really outdid yourself with this recipe 👑.
Oh heck yeah!! I would totally gobble that down. Happy Father's Day Neal!!
I love Philly cheesesteak fries so much!
Those are amazing. Reminds me of the Gyro Fries down the block. Never thought of making them as a Philly Fries. Great video.
This looks like amazing ... thank you for the Video ...
Absolutely
Those look freaking awesome.
Man that looks amazing! Drooling!
That looks Awesome ❤
Yummy looking,thanks 👍👍👍
Denver steaks are delicious and so are chuck eye steaks. Those are amazing cheesesteak fries Neal! Happy Father’s Day brother! Cheers!
Looks really good.
WOW...that looks amazing!!!
griddle seems to be working awesome! ordered one yesterday! been griddling on a 18" circle coverted old grill. the 36" space cant wait to try and copy some of your recipes!
Also just ordered your seasonings! thx
That is awesome!
I love Philly cheesesteak fries more than a Philly cheesesteak sandwich.
Fantastic Neil! This was a banger! I agree with Amy ,I would choose this over the sandwich 😂. Cheers and Happy Father’s Day!🍻🍻
Denver steaks are a super flavorful cut. One of my favorites
Good choice of marbled steak for this recipe. Looks awesome😊
Looks like the camp chef gridiron is doing the job just fine. Get mine later this week.
Everything that you used to make the fries seemed excellent..The food turned out great.
Well thank you...
That looks great. i could eat that without the fries for a relatively low carb dinner.....lol. Never heard of a Denver Steak. It looks good. thanks for sharing another great recipe
Dude that looks delicious!! That would be excellent for tailgating. Pulling for your VOLS!
Boss, you keep hitting home runs with these mash ups. Takes great imagination and dare I say, knowing what one is doing? 😉 Well done 👏
Glad you enjoy it bud
Thanks Neal! - I'm using "W" sauce as my official binder on anything beef these days and into the future. - Super happy with it!
That tray looks superb! Almost like a cheesesteak poutine - just missing the gravy (diet starts tomorrow!) - lol - Cheers!
ahahahh cheers
We call that a horseshoe here in Springfield Illinois. Good cook!
Looks great! What are your thoughts on the gridiron vs the competition?
its hilarious you made fries on the flat top. nice to see it being done but yeah hilarious
Neil... I like the brand of fries you used. But I haven't seen that preticular type. They have some that are crinkle cut, I like them because they have the cooking instructions for air fryers. Orida needs to get with the program as their bags don't have the cooking instructions on any of their products for air fryers. For years I lived without an air fryer, but because my wife had her gall blader removed she could have things that had a lot of grease or oil. The air fryer really helped with the grease/oil issue. I'm definately adding this video to my favorites play list in RUclips.
I feel for you. We just paid $6.49 for bone in Ribeye at Safeway (northern Idaho). We loaded up.😋
Hey Neal! On a tangent, what are your thoughts on insulating the lid for better heat control for doing pizza on the flat top? I have 1" ceramic cloth insulation that I'd like to attach to my hinged lid. Thank! Keep up the good work and I'm glad to see that you all are doing well with the expansion of your channels.
Has to be better than not...but with out seeing or testing it...I couldn't say one way or the other...
Your face in some of these thumbnails 🤣 you know it's going to be good
ahhahahaha
My wife just walked in at the end and said, "Ooh! What's that?" I guess I'd better get the recipe! 😃
Wow!!!
Now once they figure out that low carb French fry I’m on board for sure 👍
Yes please!
Australia Wagyu Denver steak is my all time favorite streak
Love this cook Brotha, and it does look like it straight Slaps ✊🏼🧐! Shoot I’d be like Amy with the patented “Pinchers of Power” 🤏🤏🤏 if I was there during this cook 🤣👌. I’ve never heard of that cut, Denver Steak. It kinda looks like a skirt, just thicker 🤔.
If you happen to know where it is Kutt from, put a brotha up on game so I can look for it here in Cali. Anywho, super dope idea for the cheese steak cook (shout out to Amy for the idea), and I know exactly what you mean bout being married…. I’m right.. and she’s wrong 🤣🤣🫡. Cheers y’all 👊🏼😎🤙🏼
What a plate of food❤...looks good Neal and Amy..W O W

Oh my goodness.. I think I need this today to cure my hangover 😂

@@TheFlatTopKing Happy Father's Day. Hopefully someone is cooking for you today 😁
I do a similar dish with taco steak meat and do taco fries!
My son works for Lowe's, and got me a Blackstone for Father's Day last year. It was a Father's Day special from Blackstone, a 30" unit. Do you think anybody makes a silicone mat for that size??? Nobody does, not even Blackstone...
Not that I know of...
Looks great. Happy Father’s Day to you 🤗🤪
I have not cooked on my griddle since January or February. I literally gained 10 pounds in less than six months that I was cooking on that thing. This looks like something I want to make.
Neal have you thought about doing a reverse sear with the LoneStar and then slicing for the griddle?
I have thought about it...
@@TheFlatTopKing I’m def gonna using both on lots of cooks. Posted a blended cook on your FB group. Tri-tips, filets and ribeyes.
@@kokicubano did you happen to see what I posted on my other channel yesterday…whole ribeye spilt in n half. Rotisserie style. Refrigerate overnight. Slice thick and grill. Pellets and pits is the RUclips thing
@@TheFlatTopKing I’m about to watch it. The cover picture alone looks amazing.
Out of all the griddles I've seen you use which one has been your favorite so far?
I can’t seem to cook vegetables without them coming out too greasy. If I use less oil, they stick to the grill. It’s really frustrating.
Go SEC baseball! And that looks great.
Go VOLS
Hi Neal and Amy, Are you going to post this recipe on your website? Would be great of you could.
We are currently working on it..cheers
What kind of griddle is that one for this cook?
❤🔥
I'm going to guess that you are a Sagittarius.
😂seriously?
To say something is better than an original and accepted delicacy and to write it as clickbait makes your presentation unacceptable. Please don't do it again or you are OUT! A cheese steak originated in PA., leave it as their legacy. PS-I am from Florida!
ahahahah see ya...let me help you pack...first of all....a Philly Cheese Steak is from PA....the name Philly was never used...Ill make what i want...you do you...PA doesnt have the rights to all cheesesteaks...if so not other state or channel could make it...Big difference your trying to make...
@@TheFlatTopKing You missed the entire point...You used a known taste to get people to watch your presentation! Clickbait is what it is called.
Dude. That is a heart-attack just waiting to happen.
LOL you are Right and She is wrong. You must have seen my comment on your other video telling you the lady is always right.
That looks delicious!
Definitely have to adjust griddle temp by actually taking the temperature and not by dial position. So many factors come into play, e.g. wind, outdoor ambient temp, wind screens in place, wife's gaze 😡 meant to burn a hole in you missed it's mark, etc. 😆
These are looking boss!
Happy to be here first
Keep it up brotha
I have never heard of a Denver steak. Is it called anything else?
Add scrambled eggs on top
You almost made a poutine ;)
I buy Denver steaks a lot. They have a great beefy flavor. The butchers used to keep them for themselves. Great recipe. Happy Father’s Day, brother! ❤
Happy Fathers Day to the ol man....cheers
Do you have a video discussing internal meat temps for beef, chicken, pork, etc? Thanks
Not one thats a dedicated video...although I mentioned it often
Hey Neal, made this today for lunch. Bout the only thing i did different was adding a few cloves of minced garlic. I use garlic on just about everything but cereal.
It was awesome!!!!
hahaha I know the feeling
Those french fries are the best
Holy cow...guest appearance post....hahhah Yeah their fantastic
Looks so delicious, this is a keeper recipe for sure, wish I was there to sample this!
I'm going to have to try this. I'm usually a Carne Asada fries guy, but I do like a cheesesteak as well. Happy Father's Day!
Yoooo I can't help but notice the plaque in the back! Thank you for your service!! And for the video - that's a damn close second to the first!
Oh boy this looks good! I'll have to break out the deep frier for this one because my domed EVO won't allow me to shallow fry.
Making this today for the hubs, always entertaining!
Genius! Cheese fries + steak fries (aka steak frites) = cheesesteak fries
Voila! Wow...going to have to do this! TFS 😙
Where did you get the Grill Mat
camp chef...
@@TheFlatTopKing Thank You
I'm a true admirer of flat top king😊 but for me steak fries😅 worst fries on the planet
Marbeling to me is Not what I want in a steak. I'm paying to eat meat not gristle or fat. I do not understand at all why people claim steak loaded with gristle and fat taste better. It doesn't. You are tasting gristle and fat.
You might want to consider doing research. Inter muscular fat is 100 percent different than exterior fat and grisssle. Not even night and day difference.. good luck but do research…
@@TheFlatTopKing Different How and how does that effect my comment? You just told me to look it up but gave no context. So the fat is different.. so what.. you are still flavoring your steak by using the flavor of fat are you not?
Go to a good steak house and see for yourself the difference between sirloin and a ribeye.
Go eat some meat with zero fat on it…steak, hamburger, pork, or any meat. It isn’t enjoyable. Fat is flavor. Trim excess fat but intramuscular fat makes meat taste good.
To me that steak is Way over cooked.
Aren’t you the same idiot who just said that fat makes a steak taste bad? That steak is medium to medium rare. How is that overcooked? You are either a troll or a moron.
