Nice review, I really love this board... been wanting a wooden board for some time just didn't want to go completely custom. For the price this looks like a great option!
Ended up getting an XVX version to review of this board but with different caps, I'll update them after the review but it's quite a nice board for the price, especially how unique it is!
Very good review as always. I agree that a barebones kit will be great. I was wondering how the board would sound like foam-less, thanks for doing that sound test.
if the rubber strip loses it's grippiness, you can always by 3M Double Sided Tape, they are available in the sheet size. Cut it into strip and everything is like new.
Glad that I made a right choice for purchasing this. Waiting for the shipment now, and love the detailed comparison between the Full Foam & Foamless in your video too. Also love the Leobog Hi8 vid too. Been on my mind for several weeks cause of your video. Lol But in the end the MU01 wins it.
Currently redoing my setup to get away from the pink gamer girl aesthetic. Switched my case to fractal north’s black and walnut case and snagged this keyboard, super excited to see everything come together.
It's looks that Akko is going in the right direction. A barebone version with gmk Botanica must look awesome. The chinese font would be nicer on the brass accent than the Akko logo, I think. The feets must be fixed without adhesive.
I love the look of this board and the Keycaps too tho I will probably switch them for a black in white set to match my setup more. Fingers crossed for an ISO release
I always thought the Akko logo was too aggressively shown on the board. They released an updated version in 75% with a knob and the thing is a dream board. Best of all - the logo up top is gone!
I thought the stock switches with this board were V3 Piano Pro? I searched for other videos comparing the piano pro vs. CS piano, and the Pro has a stem box. But other videos and on the Akko website only show it with a regular stem. Now I'm confused.
Have you ever used this keyboard on 2 devices? For example 1 PC and 1 Laptop at the same time? I want to ask someone that has this or a similar Akko keyboard, how the multi-host thing works. And if it works properly. Basically, I want to use the same keyboard for my Desktop PC and my Laptop (both Win11) and use it in wireless mode. Don't mind if I have to use the 2.4gz or Bluetooth, I just want to make sure it can work for both of my devices. A guy from Akko's support suggested to use wired connection for 1 device and 2.4 for the other, but I want to use it wireless on both. On your knowledge, do you think it is possible to use 2.4ghz connectivity for PC and Bluetooth for the laptop and by using the key shortcut that switches modes I can switch from one device to another? I'm all ears. Thanks for the video btw
Hi. Bro since it needs an akko app to remap the keys, can I remap the keys using my pc then use the keyboard (remapped) on my work laptop na hindi nag aallow ng external apps? thanks.
Got mine. However I'm not a fan of the piano v3 switch. It feels like my hands is sinking 😂. Can you recommend a tactile switch that is great for this board?
Yep! It's a new DIY Ikea desk that I put together Really wanted a nice bright oak finish looking desk to make review videos look a bit more chill. It's actually a 2nd desk setup in my room that I plan on kinda evolving depending on the video I'm working on
Love how this keyboard looks. Just refreshing to see in this world full of plastic and aluminum keyboards.
I think the keys are from plastic too (PBT is also some kind of Polymer..bla bla)
@@Kaan_Solo He means the wooden case 🤦♂

Always love your honest reviews and eyes for the small details! It's such a pleasant surprise that the foamless build sounds good too! ^^
Thank you! Means a lot!
Surprisingly the foamless config is pretty solid for those wanting a more subdued and cleaner sound 😁
Very good review as always. I agree that a barebones kit will be great. I was wondering how the board would sound like foam-less, thanks for doing that sound test.
I absolutely love it, keycap and case combination is like match made in heaven for me. But I can understand that 7:59 everyone has different choices.

The keycaps looks sooo coooool and clean
And now i need a full wooden keycap set 🤤
True. Definitely need wooden keycap set on this

Great review man! Keep it up.
Beautifull board. IMO it sounds so much better foamless, and I rarely like foamless boards.

My dad would love this. Too bad it's not a standard Chinese keyboard with regards to the printed legends. That would have been the icing on the cake.

Hero.
Pretty nice. I like the aesthetic. Has any one used akko keyboard? Do they last?
Would you recommend this over more common midrange/budget boards like the hi8?
I have to buy this board for the simple fact it matches my fractal north case so perfectly.
those keycaps tho, real pretty
great vid, unrelated to this keyboard but do you know if regular screw in stabilizers will work with the neo ergo (i commented on that video as well)
They do!
@@nobody-bt7mu ok tysm! i literally could not find that answer anywhere else so ty again
I’m not knowledgable about keyboards, can it be connected to Mac?
oh my goodness it sounds so good...
I wonder if it's possible to make this letter é. I'm French and I often use this kind of letter with accents. Does this keyboard allow me to use them?

Definitely give Gateron Quinns a try. They're my favorite tactile at the moment and everyone I've had try them all loved em hehe
@@Merkeebs thanks! I'll try to find one. It is quite hard to look for some switches in where I am from. How about akko v3 creamy purples?
MOA layout looks suits the calm vibe of the kb. But honestly I knew my finger will slip when typing on it like XDA. This is the only cons for me
Are the keycaps textured at all or they are just flat?
They're just flat with the design printed on
I can't connect Akko's Driver as "Akko Cloud Driver" even though I'm using Wired mode. Help me

What’s the front height?
This with pbtfans resonance R1 👌
3:28 mmmmm
Akko screwed up no VIA support and now the Dusk67 is coming thankfully.
its gonna waaaarrrrrpppppp
why?
Why would they ruin that nice looking case with a metal bar at the top. smh
I think it looks pretty nice myself
I want this in a 75%
