In this video, we explore the Navy Pier which is located at 600 E Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 6061. It is a 3,300-foot-long pier on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The Pier is known as one of Chicago's top attractions and we could see why. The main attraction was the Centennial Wheel which gave us some amazing views from way up high.
There were several other rides, a few boat taxis, some shopping areas, and plenty of places to eat. You could also sign up for an architecture cruise or a skyline cruise. On Wednesdays they have a cruise where you can also see fireworks. That cruise was all sold out so we missed it. Make sure you book yours well in advance.
One thing we found that we weren't expecting was the Original Rainbow Cone stand. We've heard about it and wanted to try it while in Chicago and we just happened to stumble across it at the Pier. What an awesome surprise and it was absolutely delicious. You must try it if you're visiting Chicago.
Oh, it's free to enter the Navy Pier but you have to pay yo get on the rides. It was not expensive though. Check out Groupon!
All in all, we had a great time at the Pier and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for something to do while visiting Chicago.
