Raybox had me at Vikings. They also had me at Zombies. So Vikings AND Zombies together have rendered me totally helpless to resist. Needless to say, I'll be jumping in on this when it comes.
I pointed out the survey doesnt include those who love the hobby, but find they do not have the time or space but still keep in touch on channels like you guys to see what is happening
I'm loving how many things are coming out with classic design styles! There's a personality in each model that some of the newer stuff from major brands misses.
I'm waiting for the show where Gerry goes; this week we don't have an Indy of the week but we do have a Codebuster, just to see the terror in Ben's eyes lol😂😂😂😂
That WW2 Paperboy release looks really impressive. The whole range seems like a really interesting way to try out some unfamiliar periods at a relatively reasonable cost...
One of the great things about the WSS survey is that it's been going for so many years. Means you can see interesting trends, so the more people who complete it the better.
I'm a history teacher. Started incorporating Peters Paper Boys in some simple rules. Such a good resource. Also all the 6mm sci Fi is really making me want to pick that up
That Brutal Cities stuff looks amazing. And finally, something over here in the land of Aus, so I won't be completely destroyed by currency conversion and shipping :D
I'm loving the brutal cities 6mm stuff. I'm not sure why, but as I get older I'm getting more interested in smaller scale games, and that would be ideal for battletech as well as Titanicus.
Warpath in 10mm? I thought they said 15mm before. I love 15mm (1:100). It is just big enough to still get some great detail in the models. I think 10mm will be to small for my liking. But we'll see.
I've always thought the Wargames Survey was inherently biased towards historicals and it's nice to hear someone say it. The questions feel written by someone who only plays historicals. The incentives to enter anre mostily historical. The people running it are historically oriented. The data gathered cannot help but skew that way. I bet it shows a far larger percentage of players favour historical than is true. It might be interesting to see what changes in results they might get if they partnered with a fantasy/scifi biased publication for next years survey. I enter every year anyway, eben though I have minimal interest in historical stuff.
FYI Ben first saw this on BBC news, but here's a little feature about the Maxim gun and at about 3 minute mark pictures from a deployed position in Ukraine, original news story was a 60yr old guy using a gun older than he was! ruclips.net/video/nBrCChDxbKw/видео.html

Vikings plus zombies equal Hel Yes.
26:30 they look like disposable soldiers.
That Brutal Cities stuff looks amazing. And finally, something over here in the land of Aus, so I won't be completely destroyed by currency conversion and shipping :D

Interesting The Great Wargaming Survey and car games looks really great.
Joyride does look fun, how complex are the rules - wondering if tweenager friendly?

I'm loving the brutal cities 6mm stuff.

Vikings versus Zombies is mighty tempting...
If I won the weeks prize I would make the librarian with an orangutan head
