Adults only are my favorite words. Vivkimg and Virgin will be my go-to's when I start cruising. This is a very comprehensive video. Thank you, Vanessa.
Virgin was going to be our first cruise until we looked more into it. We just aren't into partying like what we've seen from virgin. So we went with Norwegian and it was a nice time with a good mix of things to do and places to relax and be in a peaceful place. Kids didn't bother us and we were even below the main dining room which only got loud at the very end of the night when they were moving chairs and tables. Looking into Princess and MSC for our next cruise!
Hey Vanessa 👋🏽! You taught me something today: here I am thinking Virgin Voyages is the only adult cruise line. It’s nice to know that there are others out there. Silversea has been on my radar as a price friendlier option to seeing Bora Bora 😉. Thank you for the insights.
Hi! 👋 So nice to hear from you! it surprised me too ☺️ I just did a video in the membership on Bora Bora, and while it's amazing, it's very pricey and a one and done for many of us. But I think you'd really like Silversea ☺️ Keep me posted on what you decide!
What a great video! I’ve been wondering about some of these lines. We did a Holland America cruise to Alaska and loved it. Not😢 adults only, but there were maybe five kids on board at most. We did pay extra for specialty dining, excursions and alcoholic beverages, but we found it all to be a great value.
A fair assessment in my opinion as a seasoned cruiser and travel advisor. I know you can’t cover them all but Celebrity tends to have fewer kids onboard as it is more adult oriented. Seabourn and Holland America are some others that normally have far less kids onboard as well.
Hi Vanessa! What a nice surprise this video is!!! My husband and I have been saving for a while to take soon, we hope, a river cruise in Europe. This information is excellent, and just what we need to help us determine how we should proceed. As always, thank you for all your research and excellent work.
A timely video. My wife and I (mid 60's) are taking our first ever cruise on Virgin's Resilient Lady next month (Barcelona to Athens). Found the base fares to be very reasonable however the excursions seemed a bit pricey to me. We did get a $600.00 bar tab and a $100.00 ship credit included as part of base fare. Looking forward to the adventure!
We were on Resilient Lady this summer (mid 60’s as well) from Athens to Croatia, Montenegro & Corfu, and we absolutely loved it! We also found excursions to be extremely pricey but found all of our ports to be walkable and we didn’t feel we missed out on much by not taking an excursion. Hopefully that will be the same at other European ports for you. Enjoy!
Thank you Vanessa, I'm all about adult cruising only as unsupervised children get on my nerves, lol and this video really helped me make the best decision for next year!
I recommend NCL. They have the studio cabins, which are in a separate area of the ship. No children are allowed in this cabin type as they are meant for solo traveler's. That guarantees quiet hallways on the studio area.
I would love it if you added a note about vegan options, or willingness of chefs to accommodate. So many places claim to be flexible when you email in advance, but don't actually accommodate when you are there
I've booked the 2025 World Cruise on P&O Arcadia. One noteworthy item of interest is that they provide options for solo cruisers. I didn't find any other cruise line doing a WC with a solo option (unless it was just paying double).
I love Virgin. It's not as raunchy as people say. They are just more open to embracing all aspects of life. Do your research before you go. The only people I've seen with issues about their offerings turn out to be on the uptight or even shrewed side of things.
Leave it to you, Vanessa, to deliver us a totally unique and educational cruise video. Believe me, I have watched a lot of them, but yours is a step above!! If you can share more about your Viking experiences in a future video.
Hi Nikki! You have no idea how much your comment means to me! It's a challenge coming up with video ideas no one has done before (or copied) 🥴, so I really appreciate you taking the time to say this. Will be adding more pov vids of our experience in the membership so stay tuned 😉
Long comment sorry, never done a cruise and it doesn’t seem my style but if you put out a video I’m gonna watch!! But what is going on with virgin cruises?!? I know cruises are know for their upside down pineapple stuff(and that’s fine do your thing) but this seems like more!! Whoa! I’m definitely intrigued by Viking tho small cruise capacity, older crowd(I’m in my 30s lol) and included culture excursions!? Ok you might have sold me on that one! Thanks again love all your content!
@@Passport_Pagesyou make such quality videos that are so well researched! I think most people are here cause they like to travel/vacation so learning about other vacations is never a bad thing. Also if you enjoyed making this video keep it up!! 🎉🎉
I’ve only been on Virgin twice but we got the $600 bar tab and I think they have that promo often. I would say try to book when you can get the promo? It’s definitely more than enough for two people. If that’s what you meant as a con!
The thing about Viking that I've heard is that the included tour is very basic, often a walking or bus tour. All those special experiences are extra--and can be pricey. Was that not true of your trip? I enjoy cruising content so I'd welcome more :).
We have taken 4 Viking cruises. And now Oceania (cheaper but similar to Regent 7 Seas). Yes, Viking included tours are kind of basic and give you more of an overview of your port area, but we mix them in with ones we purchase. Those aren’t overly expensive. Viking ships are unique in their Scandinavian design, and the service has remained truly exceptional. They are so friendly, and even officers and managers mix and talk with guests. Oceania is all about food and a LOT of itineraries. They allow children, but you only see a few in the summertime.

Thank you Debbie-Ann! Can't wait to hear your feedback 😊
Definitely love the info on adult only cruises primarily but appreciate the skinny on all lines
Thanks Michael!
Thanx sooo much Vanessa!!! This was absolutely amazing info!!!
Thanks Renee! Glad you found it helpful ☺️
Keep these cruise videos coming! We love all inclusives and cruises, with 2 cruises on our schedule next year.
Thank you Paul! That's exciting!

Definitely loving the cruise content. Although all inclusives are a favorite with our family, cruising is still number one with us!
Good to know! Thanks Gina!

Yes, more cruise videos!!!!
Thanks Vanessa, not a cruiser here but we love the all inclusive info.
Thank you Matt for always being so kind and supportive ☺️

Hi! Happy to help! You made me lol 😄 Let me know how it goes!
I’ve never taken a cruise I’m a all inclusive guy but Vanessa great info and video i might try soon
Thank you for always supporting Dave 😊
I usually don’t like cruises, but you prompted my interest to look into it
That's so nice to hear! 😊
Great Vid-!- Keep it up...!...
Thank you!! 🙏

No kids? I'm in! My parenting time is served 🎉
🥳

Would you do a video of all inclusive resorts in Costa Rica?
Cool 😎

That's awesome! Thank you for the tip! A world cruise is SO exciting!! Let us know how it was when you return, I'm sure it will be wonderful 😊
Please do a Regent Cruise..let’s us know how it is!
Have to keep this info in mind going forward. Going on a cruise in a week, but it's a 15 night cruise, so I doubt there will be many kids on board.
Have a great cruise! 15 nights sounds wonderful 😊

The biggest Virgin con for me is that they don't offer drink packages.
I’ve only been on Virgin twice but we got the $600 bar tab and I think they have that promo often. I would say try to book when you can get the promo? It’s definitely more than enough for two people. If that’s what you meant as a con!

Hi! Thanks for letting me know ☺️ In my experience, true of other lines with included excursions but not Viking. But of course YMMV.
