It’s funny I’ve 100% the game and gotten all achievements, and with about 900 hours I still found myself clicking on this video even thought I’ve played the game 8 times and used mods, just shows how strong my love still is for the game and people making content on it.
Done the 100% and achievements that aren’t online. Thinking this current play is the last vanilla run. Finishing up my 5th run. Chapter 3. Everything is great and nothing can go wrong.
Have y’all got that achievement that’s like survive 10 bear attacks? That’s such a niche achievement and you’d have to know where to go and I’m guessing when during the story as well.
The fact that you experience things like that cougar attack while you’re narrating is one of the reasons you’re got one of the best series ever. Keep it up. Happy New Year.
The biggest mistake Rockstar has made is thinking that rdr players are the same as gta players. A large percentage of rdr players don’t play gta or play very little. They tend to be older than gta players and are not that into pvp and micro transactions
Fucking nailed it …don’t get me wrong I don’t mind a good ol fashioned duel or gang shootout but I play rdr2 to chill and get lost in its beautiful world ..he’ll someday I just get on and fish only and camp out in the woods etc I’m 36 and everyone tells me I should have been born back in the early 1800s because of how much I love this era
I have been an avid gamer since 1980 when I got an atari 2600 for christmas, and over the years I've played countless games on just about every console made. RDR 2 is by far the most immersive and detailed game I've ever played. Im on my 6th playthrough on story mode and am level 130 online. Its the only game I've played for the last 2 years. All other games now just pale by comparison. I might need some Red Dead rehab..lol
I just got into RDR2 in November and beat the game high honor, absolutely loved it and cried a lot. It's become one of my favorite games, I honestly never expected to become so attached to Arthur or many of the characters but I did. Such a good game. Thanks for still making content on it, I'll be watching your old vids :)
I’m playing the game again for probably the tenth time and this time I’m doing it different. I’ve decided to play it slow and really enjoy how beautiful the game is. I don’t play background music, I don’t run around everywhere in a hurry, I eat and drink in a common manner, and make choices that I can truly see myself making. So far it is the most relaxing play through I’ve had and I’m really enjoying it.
This video brings me peace, just seeing all the different play styles really shows how good Rockstar are letting the player play the game how they want. Also love the acoustic in the background
Red Dead Redemption 2 is my favorite game, and I got all achievements and 100% the game for the first time a couple months ago. This is why I clicked this video because I'm probably going to take a long break in order to forget a lot. So I can return in 2026 and hopefully enjoy it much more.
RDR2 taught me you can’t rush with some games. the level of attention to detail is immense, and you are absolutely going to miss some of it. I’ve been playing the game with low honor and it’s insane how much the world is warped by your actions. Fantastic experience that I doubt i’ll be able to get anywhere else until GTA VI
I have been playing this game since the release date, Oct 26, 2018. It has definitely ruined other games for me. It's important to take your time, not rush whether walking, riding, or playing in general. I made the mistake of beating this game in like 5 days when I first got it. Hunting and fishing is great, you can chill and gamble, you can live in the wild and become a mountain man - oh there's so much 🤠
@@CaseyAvalon Same, RDR2 has ruined all other games for me also. I have been gaming for over 40+ years and right now I have 4 different consoles snd around 400 games in my collection but, all I want to play is RDR2. Its the only game I have ever played where I actually feel like Ive stepped into another world. The immersion and detail of this game is second to none. Imo, its the greatest game ever made, a true masterpiece.
One thing I like to do is hitchhike, I put my horse away safely in the stables and just go see if I can hitch a ride on a stagecoach. Another thing you can do is sneak on trains and ride them to the next destination, if the train guards don't see you then no bounty will be placed and the train will operate like normal.
I finished this game 3 times. Been playing it since it came out back in 2018. I am still enjoying it. When I get bored I get pouse from it until I get will to play again
You know one thing I wish they did and correct me if I’m wrong, but I wish as you lay low your bounties would go down but as far as I know that’s not how it works. I built up a bounty in west Elizabeth as Arthur to test it being a lot of the game is more east. But I went through a significant portion of the game and the bounty doesn’t go down. I wish it did, maybe that would be unrealistic but I would like it as it would be a way to get rid of bounties without aging huge amounts of money.
I will never quit this game. Online is fun and I recently got into it but I can replay this game on single player time and time again. I still see things where i'm like, "I dont remember this little pond.." Slowly exploring and hunting is great. What has yet to be found?
I did a playstyle where i was a wild man who lived in the woods, stalking people strolling by and taking whatever they had, running in the city to cause a massacre to disappear back into the woods, the outfit is shirtless, no hat, barefoot, ripped pants and you can only use a knife.
i loved when u said "play and immersive gameplay" thats just what im doing right now, i stopped counting my playthroughs, i just started this one and i walk everywhere, i dont load game for doing something wrong i just let the the story be writen the way it happened. i disabled all HUD but the aim dot witch you can turn smaller and harder to see. it just beatifull to just feel the humanity of the characters by walking, eating, sharing whit gang members, talking to people, staying out on hotels or camping and just letting every day unfold the way it would on real life. red dead 2 will be eternal just cause it's gorgeous❤❤
My next playthrough I’m planning in my to stable my horse in Valentine, take a train to St Denis and just spend a couple game days just walking the streets before getting the horse and moving on, probably to Big Valley
I started my second playthrough 2 weeks ago thinking I’d go for the low honor ending this time, but couldn’t bring myself to it as I was just reliving and enjoying the smaller details of my first ending since 2018. I’ll replay it again right away for low honor this time…
Whenever I'm bored and I want a month or two of fun, I play both rdr1 and 2 like this: I play a no hud, realistic, no challenges playthrough of rdr2 and play it as realistic and as cannon as possible. Same thing for rdr1. Then after I've played both games in a movie-version way, I play a "new game plus" version. I go for Legend of the West as soon as possible and go crazy with exploring. Same for rdr1.
In rdo if a player says they are board with it I often ask them if they’ve maxed they’re roles and a lot of times they’ve barley started doing that. Imo you havnt gotten into the addictive grind until you do that. It will shave you bounty hunting, moon shining, and bounty hunting and you get this system of missions like bounty hunting and then going back and checking on your moonshine shack and cripps trading post for the hunting role. Those are just my favorite roles you also have naturalist and collector which are good. Naturalist is a bit of a headache but if you can do all the hunting challenges in solo it shouldn’t be a problem. Now I’m trying to buy every item out of the catalogue, I’m guessing I need about 800 more gold and I’m a lvl 387 I’ll never tire of the game. But it is an absolute travesty that they cancelled support for rdo and didn’t make undead nightmare 2. But they had all the assets for big rdo updates, think about how easy it would be to add ranches when they have all those systems in the game in the epilogue. And I would pay 10,000 rdo dollars for the hot air balloon another thing that’s in the game and wouldn’t be hard to put into online.
Im on my now third playthrough. The first one when it came out i played it on ps4 then the second a year later and now in 2025 im doing my third on my pc and planning on doing one more with mods. And GODDAMN have i forgotten how good and beatiful this game is im 25 hours in still havent grotten further that chapter 2
Love all the ideas you gave , I’m currently doing an outlaw play through in the epilogue w/ John it’s been pretty fun I even made a nice little “John wick” outfit for him. Haven’t been to visit beachers hope in ages 😂
Amazing video I would like to Play rdr2 again but my Steam account got hacked i Tried recover IT but IT got deleted i really want to Play rdr2 again its my favorite game its masterpiece

In my second playthrough I went with a red vest, red pants, and a everyday shirt I think And also Arthur’s hat Made me feel good to have a personal outfit for myself :) And I did all side missions I could find In chapter 6 second play through and doing the charlotte side mission for the first time because I didn’t know if it It’s so good :) Happy new year!
Ive first started playing red dead 2 a week ago on my shitty pc. The game is rly good. Might try the first one too. Is it better to play red dead1 on ps3 or to buy the new pc version?
Had to wipe my PC recently and completely forgot to save my 230 hour RDR2 save file to the cloud so lost all my progress... However I genuinely don't care. It's given me an excuse to play through the game again and seek out all the stuff I hadn't done. And Arthur is alive again!
This was my first time playing rdr2... Did i pirate the game? yes... Do i have a really weak gpu?? Yes. I had to tweak the setting file of rdr2 so much just to get 15-16 fps. But it was more than enough for me.. I played the game till meeting reverand.. after that when we meet mary in that one mission thats where the game gave a very grusome error that made me delete the whole game.. But i did enjoy every moment of playing it while it lasted. I forgot to mention but the game looked like shit after tweaking it so much
I feel like everyone plays for a few hours a day but when I find I game it's all I can think about so I get bored fast Rdr2 is one of the games that has lasted the most for me aside from childhood games but now I haven't played anything cause I have a life, and there no other game beside Rdr2 that seems slightly attractive. I now my grammar is bad, but English is not my first language
Its sad they killed online. They could have done so so much more. Though i just literally found a way to get to guarma online. We have a jail in story mode but its really nothing online. Hot air balloons. So much they could have done.
My fav and IMO, the best game ever still has so many things that bug the hell out of me. Like there's always someone around regardless of where u are. The fact that it's almost impossible to commit a crime without everybody knowing what u did and who did it. The law is on u at a ridiculous speed, and no matter if u leave zero, witness u get a bounty. Plus, it's so easy to get money and so many gold bars and whatnot, but almost nothing to spend it on. Oh, and don't forget all the wasted areas on the map that we aren't supposed to go. Everything west of Blackwater is boring as hell. NPC'S never have any good or rare horse to steal. U come across a gang camp. Somebody is always awake, and u can't sneak up on any of the for some fun stealth kills. The gambling is boring and can't do any high stakes. As great as this game is, it could have been so much better
@ProScrood It's not all negative, or at least I wasn't trying to be. It's still my favorite game, and I've beaten it 4 or 5 times now. I was just ranting about all the little things they got wrong because we all know what they got right
I have a feeling it would release around 2030 realistically, worst case scenario it would be around 2035, depends on what rockstars plans are with other games. I know there is a Bully game somewhat in development, but RDR 3 is also speculated to be in development too, so guess we’ll have to see
When Take 2 interactive and Rockstar announced they would no longer be updating red dead redemption 2 with major content, they said it was because the entire teams focus needed to be shifted to the production of gta 6 to get it released asap. You can find the tweet online that take 2 interactive literally said this. And the reason they are still updating GTA 5 is because it generates more revenue than rdr2, so they are updating it and making more money while producing gta 6. so no i wasn’t making stuff up 45 seconds in, do your research and don’t be so quick to hate
Im currently the farthest ive been in the story. Every time i play i just get bored. To me it was a slog and very janky movements and slow story and horse riding nonstop just didnt do it. I'm trying now and have put like 30 hours into it. Great game i respect but feels kinda overrated. If you into cowboys and shit than this is for you though.
I feel like if we play this game until we’re old, we’ll eventually forget it, and then get to experience it all over again for the first time 😂
Damn, you making me almost look forward to having alzheimers 😂
It’s funny I’ve 100% the game and gotten all achievements, and with about 900 hours I still found myself clicking on this video even thought I’ve played the game 8 times and used mods, just shows how strong my love still is for the game and people making content on it.
I meant “even though” sorry I was in a hurry lol
It’s the gift that keeps on giving, truly a masterpiece 🙌

The fact that you experience things like that cougar attack while you’re narrating is one of the reasons you’re got one of the best series ever. Keep it up. Happy New Year.
Thank you so much for your kind words, videos dropping throughout the week! Happy New Year

Facts
They play GTA but they don't play GTAO. That's the difference and that's what Rockstar doesn't understand.

Gold bars killed rdo imo. Having a currency for micro transactions at the early stage was such a bad move.

You want to escape mr gamer... well since 2018 you got the Gold standar, the undisputed best to just get the hell away from your life!
I don’t know if it’s true, but I’ve heard if you’re wearing the Viking helmet, there is a chance in a storm you can get hit by lightning
Knowing rockstar, i feel like this would be true due to their incredibly detailed games
How many hours do you have in the game for me it's over 800
I think i have roughly over 2000
@@ProScrood god dam
Its sad they killed online. They could have done so so much more. Though i just literally found a way to get to guarma online. We have a jail in story mode but its really nothing online. Hot air balloons. So much they could have done.
Well I’m trying to play it for the 3rd time but rockstar is too lazy to update the game to get it running on 60fps on ps5
Playing anything 30 is just painful for me rn
Wasted Potential i guess 😕
@ProScrood
It's not all negative, or at least I wasn't trying to be. It's still my favorite game, and I've beaten it 4 or 5 times now. I was just ranting about all the little things they got wrong because we all know what they got right
Cougars in these rockstar games are insane
Have you played WatchDogs 2 before ?? That game is also like Red Dead Redemption 2, so is The Last of Us Part 1 & Part 2
Yeah, huge fan of Watch Dogs 2, awesome game. Still looking to play the last of us 1 and 2, heard amazing things about it 🙌
I take the High Honor road and I have the Maximum High Honor on my Red Dead Redemption 2 game on my PS4 🙂
You’re better than most of us in that case 😂
Jokes on you… I can’t even enjoy it… *I can’t run it*
Now I'm coming back…
Welcome back 🙌
No thanks,literally just 100% it. I'm having a break 😂
What system do you play on?
Play on Xbox Series X 🙌
Say what you want about Rockstar... They do make the biggest and best games.
If it took 12 years for GTA 6 to come out what is it gonna be 20 years before RDR 3 comes out?
I have a feeling it would release around 2030 realistically, worst case scenario it would be around 2035, depends on what rockstars plans are with other games. I know there is a Bully game somewhat in development, but RDR 3 is also speculated to be in development too, so guess we’ll have to see
❤ rdr2
Always 🙌
What specs do your new pc have?
Doing a PC reveal in a few days with a new video, but will say the specs aren't too bad (3080) lol
@@ProScrood Woah, I just recently bought a new one as well, I got myself a 4070 Ti Super, my first time running rdr2 at more than 70 FPS
@grogus congrats bro
Who wants rdr3?

No further updates to RDR2 has nothing to do with GTA 6, they are still releasing updates to GTA 5??? Only 45 seconds in and making stuff up?
When Take 2 interactive and Rockstar announced they would no longer be updating red dead redemption 2 with major content, they said it was because the entire teams focus needed to be shifted to the production of gta 6 to get it released asap. You can find the tweet online that take 2 interactive literally said this. And the reason they are still updating GTA 5 is because it generates more revenue than rdr2, so they are updating it and making more money while producing gta 6. so no i wasn’t making stuff up 45 seconds in, do your research and don’t be so quick to hate

its like so dead now, barely anyone plays it
😔
Im currently the farthest ive been in the story. Every time i play i just get bored. To me it was a slog and very janky movements and slow story and horse riding nonstop just didnt do it. I'm trying now and have put like 30 hours into it. Great game i respect but feels kinda overrated. If you into cowboys and shit than this is for you though.
Game is boring and slow and the honor system sucks
