Great video as usual Serg. Enjoying the ancient city tour very much, thanks. Hope you get a proper rest after sweating all day long. Life is slow anywhere outside Bangkok in Thailand. But low key living is always more comfortable. Sukhothai was the the first capital of Thai era. There was still the Mon era which dated back like 2500+ years, the time before the Mon were assimilated by the Tai and then both became Thai people. I just heard about Si Thep historical park in Petchabun province where you can find the great ruins of Dvaravati that are much older than the Angor Wat.
Hey Serg, enjoy your trip. We are in Hua Hin, a cute little town, but we fell in love with Bangkok. I guess living in a small town in Florida, we were craving the business of the big city. Safe journey.
Ha ha. I know some people skewer me in the comments for that, but I just didn’t enjoy the vibe. However, now that I’m going through the small towns on the loop, I’m loving it.
Thank you Serg. I can't imagine how exhausted you must have been riding on a bike under the sun. I'm glad you had a look at Sukhothai Historical Park. I've visited several times since I was a little kid. The heat is never kind there. It would take a whole day to cover all the ruins on an electric rental cart.
I really enjoyed the park. Getting an electric cart would’ve been the smart thing to do, but after writing the motorbike for three hours, I didn’t want to sit anymore. Lol.
Hi Serg, I see your subscriber base is over 42K, congratulations, when I was in Chiang Mai, I spent a day at an elephant friendly sanctuary. The countryside north was very beautiful. Enjoy your time, have a safe remainder of your trip. 140 days until I return to Thailand! Matt from scottsdale
Awesome serg. Lot of other "places" have gone really bad. With the positive things and freedom n smiles n food n places in Thailand...if i get chance to live in Thailand..i will never bother or complain about any uncomfortable thing there. 🎉
I guess you need to learn how to use spoon and fork as Thai, with a spoon on your right hand to get the rice on it, you take the fork on your left hand to push the rice on the dish to the spoon. Trust me, it’s the most reasonable way to eat in Thailand, and maybe all over the world (except noodles with chopstick or steak)
Heheh. I'm a Thai and idc enough to use chopsticks for anything. I just use fork and spoon for everything like an uncivilized savage. Even for steaks or Pizza. Lmao.
@@TheBodiesInTheWaterBeckons Me, too. I am hopeless when it comes to shopsticks, so I use fork to twirl the noodles or pasta, otherwise, I wouldn't get to eat.😂
If you go back to Chiang Mai, stay away from the old town area. Go over to Nimman and Suthep road where the students eat in the evening. The University campus around there is also very nice and has some very scenic areas.

Great vlog. I appreciated the history background of SukoThai...very cool. Have to ask ; is there something special about the 711 water? Youve mentioned its your favourite a number of times in vlogs! Safe travels and keep up the good work my friend
When I first moved in Thailand, I couldn’t really find water that I like. They discovered that I really love the flavor of the 7-Eleven water. So kind of became a running joke. Surprised you didn't like Chiang Mai, we really enjoy visiting there. But I'm like you, if the vibe doesn't feel right (people, places) I just move on also. That 150 seems to be running like a champ. It's a shame you keep getting all these great travel tips from your subscribers after you've left the various places. Oh well, such is life. Looking forward to the rest of your journey.
Yeah, it’s OK, one of the things I really love about traveling like this is I am very flexible because I never make reservations at hotels until about three or four in the afternoon. The ADV 160 is chugging along, but of course, I wish I had a little bit more power. Thank you as always for your support.
Started watching your videos and really enjoyed it. They are different to so many others because of the bike. I even followed you..:-)) However, I got to the video where you mentioned Chang Mai for less then a 1 min saying how boring it was. I was in shock! NO MENTION of Elephant Park and relentless work of Lek, saving all broken and abused eles! You have great responsibility as a blogger here in promoting tourism free of cruelty. How can you only be showing food, markets, shopping and temples and do not show us the forests, wildlife and especially elephants? Extremely dissapointed. I am flying to Thailand next week (yey!) and my Nr 1 destination after few days in BK is Elephant Park in Chang Mai.....
A lot of these elephant parks are actually not what you think. There’s only a few true sanctuaries. I have no responsibility to make any particular videos or do anything for anyone. I make videos about things I enjoy and share them with all of you. Don’t jump to conclusions from one video. I hope you have a wonderful trip. 😊
In fact, Thai people need to study history again because many academics have already accepted that Sukhothai was not the first capital of Thailand. The first capital was probably the Lavo or Dharavadi period, including Lanna kingdom, too.
The city itself is just filled with backpackers and tourists, and is not what I’m looking for on this trip. I’m looking for quaint little towns and nature.
Was curious to see what you would say about Sukhothai....hahaha, flat and totally uninteresting, Big C the hub of nothing, hahaha, nice heritage park did enjoy it...and you didnt like CM...shame on you, old city is now pure tourists but it is a nice city, did a similar trip to you last year..but I drove...
Have to unsubscribe bc one of yr videos, a subscriber brought you some goodies from US, only a Thank you? Why didn't you take them out for dinner or give something back. ?
You have no idea what goes on behind the scenes just because it’s not shown in the video. But take your virtue signaling on your high horse and move along. Bye Karen.
My family and I will be traveling to Chiang Mai on January 2-5 next year by Nok Air both ways. When I arrived, I considered renting a car to make traveling easier. I haven't made a hotel reservation yet, but I'm in search of something close to Nimman. Good luck friend, travel safe. 🛵⛽🚦

No one cares about Cambodian or Thai politics here, especially on a anonymous troll account. Borders change as wars are won and lost. Thank God your country no longer has these sites only about 40 years ago your government killed 1/3 of your population including the most educated of your people which is why I'm assuming that I am reading this comment. @@เฉลิมพลขุนเพิ่ม-ร9ฃ
Have a nice and safe trip, ok?😎😎😎
Thank you, I will
Started watching your videos and really enjoyed it.
Serg it's su KHO Thai. Not sookathai
Got it
Not triggered but had a good time in Chiang Mai
I’m very glad you did! Everyone likes different things, and I think it would be a boring world if we didn’t
😊😊😊😊❤❤
☺️🥰
Oh no! seems we were feeling a little negative today. Nobody, even the always positive Serg, is immune to such things! Tomorrow is a new day
Nah. Just didn’t like Chiang Mai. Lollll. See you soon.
In fact, Thai people need to study history again because many academics have already accepted that Sukhothai was not the first capital of Thailand. The first capital was probably the Lavo or Dharavadi period, including Lanna kingdom, too.
Ok thanks for the info.
🥰🥰🥰
😀☺️
Did your bike get 100,000 km yet?😂
Lmao. I put more kilometers on it in the first three days of the trip then I did in the first month and a half of ownership.
❤❤
😊
Poo restaurant made me laugh 😂
Me too!
Needs more ads
Will do! Lol
I am curious to know what you do not like about Chiang Mai!
The city itself is just filled with backpackers and tourists, and is not what I’m looking for on this trip. I’m looking for quaint little towns and nature.
@@LifewithSerg ok, now I remember you said that you don't like tourist areas.
Hygiene 35th
No that’s like 46th. All jokes aside, I’ve eaten so much street food here over last year and a half and never once have I gotten sick.
@@LifewithSerg worst place for food poisoning is Emporium and Em Q
What's not a great thing in the video that you mentioned?🤔
The fact that there was nothing to do in the city at night, and also affected. I really did not like Chiang Mai.
@@LifewithSerg Do you mean Sukhothai?😅 Cause Chiang Mai is a tourist attraction, it should be a lot of night activities over there.🤔
Was curious to see what you would say about Sukhothai....hahaha, flat and totally uninteresting, Big C the hub of nothing, hahaha, nice heritage park did enjoy it...and you didnt like CM...shame on you, old city is now pure tourists but it is a nice city, did a similar trip to you last year..but I drove...
Yeah, I just didn’t like Chiang Mai because it was just filled with backpackers and tourists. I’m now in The Mae Hong Son loop and I’m loving it.
You’re not loving Chiang Mai? 😡😡😡…where is that unsubscribe button…ah…there it is!!!
Lollll
Have fun!

Thanks for all of your suggestions!
