It could be an important day at work, a wedding of yours or someone else’s , a holiday , a birthday party. It doesn’t matter what it is I would imagine most people build things up in anticipation. I know when my holidays get closer and especially the night before I lay in bed with things on my mind. That then may affect my sleep and concentration the next day. I don’t believe that to be the case mate. Red cards carry over (e.g Robbo v Fulham then missed Southampton) but cumulative yellows do not and only count for the PL.

If Trent is interested in Madrid he will be unsettled by all this. I know everyone will say he’s a professional and he won’t be but he’s only human. Think about a big day you have coming up. It could be an important day at work, a wedding of yours or someone else’s , a holiday , a birthday party. It doesn’t matter what it is I would imagine most people build things up in anticipation. I know when my holidays get closer and especially the night before I lay in bed with things on my mind. That then may affect my sleep and concentration the next day. So back to Trent if he’s seriously wanting Madrid and they are in touch with him he’ll be going to bed and thinking about all this. It definitely does affect him and then possibly the team.
All 3 contracts are effecting the team because that’s all we all talk about. We all worry about it and now that the season is getting serious we are also worrying that it could derail our season in some way.

I also don’t just blame the club. We don’t have enough information on why we’ve got this far. For all we know the club have tried to offer co tracts previously and the players have been the ones to hold off for better deals. With 7 more matches to play in January after Sunday, it’s going to be a VERY long month of Trent questions at press conferences for Arne Slot. Sooner or later Slot and/or the fans will run out of patience with Trent. If it happens for the home match day fans things will get very interesting.

I wish slot would just lie to the media, say that he doesn't talk about contracts with his players, or that he just doesn't know anything about it, and leave it like that. He has said many times that he doesn't talk about contracts in public, and I think the media are quite disrespectful to keep pushing it. They are brought and paid well to do a good job for the club and fans. I want to see what they are capable of here. Slot is just a coach, he has no say here unlike Jurgen. David is wrong about the cards being reset for Manu. Because the Everton game was postponed the cards will be reset AFTER the Manu game. Yellow cards don’t carry over to domestic cup games (unlike red cards) so if Gravenberch or Gakpo get a yellow card they will miss the Forest away game.
Apologies! You are absolutely right. I was of the belief that the reset was a general one at the halfway mark but Liverpool players will actually be at risk within the United game. Good shout mate.

I don’t believe that to be the case mate. Red cards carry over (e.g Robbo v Fulham then missed Southampton) but cumulative yellows do not and only count for the PL.

At this point, each time I watch TAA play, I'm cherishing it because in my mind, he's gone already. Thing is... if he really wanted to stay, he would have signed the contract long time ago. It's a shame that he's opting to leave for free because that is going to tarnish his legacy. And the fact he's doing that to join Real Madrid, given the history between both clubs (McManaman, Owen, losing those CL finals in a very bitter way esp 2018...) makes it worse. But it is what it is.
