It’s not quite that simple, I’m afraid. Most of the alternate universes (spin-offs) are based on ‘what-if’ scenarios that can drastically change history. Sometimes characters can return from other universes (spin-offs), but they will not be the same version of the character, due to history being different. Rather, they will be that universe’s version of them, with different memories, but otherwise being the same character.
@@sparkytepig So in the sense that the characters are based on historical figures their "history" is what defines the spin off series. It just seems crazy to me that so many spin offs can be made just on what if scenarios, are the spin offs actually much different? It seems like this series is mostly for those who are heavily invested in the characters.
