  • Central heating still not working on MY combi boiler. Testing if the water pump turns freely.
Call a plumber if you're not familiar with mechanics & switches - & DON'T touch the gas bits.
See part 3 for the fix.

Get a Gas Engineer and that's not how you test the pump

That's not how you test the pump! Please call a professional that knows what they're doing.

You tradesman don't understand. People like me and Mark don't have hundreds of pounds for you to come out not diagnose a problem properly and then charge us a bucket load of cash to fix something that costs pennies.
I have a similar issue and I am doing the work Myself.
I won't touch the gas but everything else is fair game.
You lot shouldnt rip us ordinary people off, If you didn't we'd use you more

@@joncocks2262 I don't think you realise what the actual costs are to become a plumbing and heating engineer. Every year equipment needs calibrating. Van insurance liability insurance amongst other things. So it's fair game we've all got to earn, haven't we. Prices aren't extortionate. With heating engineers you can call about and ask for prices too. Do you work for free? Or do you have a mortgage to pay?
