Something tells me that 112k let alone 99k is actually a good deal! That trailer is impressive, I like how they didn't cheap out with the majority of the build quality!
Believe it or not, something like this was going for $55k around here just a few years ago, pre-rona. This probably would have been a bit of a step up, but compared to an $800k mortgage, it's a steal, that's for sure!
If I had to give it a score on quality, given that most RVs out there are a 1/10, this is probably a 3/10 overall. DEFINITE improvement in many areas materials-wise, but still the same overall construction. For its intended purpose, it will definitely get the job done. But still too many manufactured wood components, staples and the like. But definitely better than most like these!
I believe they're showing these as "weekend camping" purposed trailers, though undoubtedly there are folks out there living in them! I'll have to do more RV parks with these in them that have been there for quite some time!
I'd bet so as well. Definitely a need for some insulated covers in the winter, though very nice for the warmer days to get some good breeze going, I'd say.
Triple axle so I bet it does tow well (like my Avions). Did you notice whether it had no tanks? (A lot of destination trailers have none, or are an add on, as they are generally hooked up to a sewer system and water). And....no on the windows, especially frameless. Those are great targets for thieves. All you have to do, generally, is push in on them hard and up to get in. (Yes, I do watch those "how thieves broke into my rv" videos). And without a roof overhang doesn't some water go in the windows when open? I mean, isn't that why gorgeous OTHER long long trailers (koff koff like my Avions...yes, I HAD to mention them AGAIN lol obsession is a thang) have jalousie style windows? To help keep water out while windows are open? Anyway, HI EMMA!!!
I sure hope so, though maybe a little more top heavy. Nothing tows better than those silver twinkies, in my experience! Well, I've not towed an Avion, but a few Airstreams, and if Avions are nicer with a triple axle, I'm a huge fan. 😂 I was surprised to see that it actually has a 40gal freshwater, 80/80gal black/grey tank setup! Many don't have that, so maybe that's how they're getting away from being a park model and more like a destination style trailer. That's nice for off-grid living and rainwater collection, in my opinion! The overhang would definitely be nice, I was thinking about that. This would be fine with the awning out, but I'd want to build a little something more solid than fabric. Great for breeze, far upgrade from the bullshit windows that twist out today, but no comparison to those nice awning or jalousie style windows that the older trailers had, that's for sure! I wish they'd bring those back, they're the best of all worlds, though maybe not as seamless of a design. I've thought a lot about thieves and security, and sadly I've not found anything to be much better security-wise with any rig we've had. A quick pry of a crow bar and someone would be in any of the rigs we've had within seconds and minimal effort -- off they go with our disco ball. 🪩😥 Emma isn't here, but she says hi. 🤣
@@CozyLivingMachine For a little more security, I got Tile Mates to track certain things, like car and Scamp purse etc. ...and they are inexpensive and work! Wish they were a tad smaller to put on the cats, although one goes nuts if I put even a collar on her (she is named L'il Jinx for a reason, and was dumped as a kitten but vet says she is a Pixie Bob, so I guess they're nutballs anyway.) I'm sorry Mr. Disco Ball fell, I guess you didn't get a chance to use the disco motor light. Darn. At least he makes people happy in Lenny's front window lol. Say, do you have emergency exit windows in Lenny, or is that the side doors? I'm going to have to have a drop down ladder should I ever need to use mine. I can't picture just jumping out that far because SPLAT.
That monstrosity is way too specific for me. Its like buying a single wide trailer you put in a full-time trailer park where you end up taking the tires off and putting a skirt around the bottom and it never moves. Lofts are pure kid fun and if you just need a place to live and have fulltime hookups, this will work!
Did you see JD's video this morning? It's a small "cab-over" travel trailer. Very interesting. Very unique.
Great call out there, that thing is awesome!! That's what the industry needs! Affordable, adorable, feature packed, and not just black and white. 😎🤘
that loft would be perfect for the dogs and maybe more dogs lol
Dangerous. 😂😂

I like that! Very nice! 👍
I could be happy with that on a bit of land 😊 🐹 🚙
That's pretty nice for what it is. Would make a good AbnB in the right location.
Hey Guys ! Well that a very nice setup, I like it. How was the craftsmanship and quality ? It looked pretty good 👍👍

@@CozyLivingMachine Do they market those as designed for full time living ?

I suspect that all those windows would make the rig difficult to cool and heat.

100k cheaper than that Entegra class b+ 😂😂
You could take that money you've saved and buy three Transits for the same price.

Oh yeah, it's freaking huge! I'd like to see a few quality improvements here and there, but it could be a nice home for someone!
