here is a crazy idea for an amazing video... Stick this camera on the moving parts of a steam engine and show us how it works through this. You could also mount it on the shovel while shoveling coal into the fire or inside the water tank or even on the wheel itself. I bet this would make for an amazing video that is fun to watch and also educational.

This camera is well thought out. My biggest concern would be how steady it is while walking, but your illustration of this made it look really smooth.

I'd also hope that you can appreciate a more transparent statement such as, "This is an ad for Insta360 GO3 (or whatever is being advertised)", a la Adam Ragusea when he posts videos as advertisements, and not as just 'sponsored content'. Those are definitely 2 different things and your viewers would appreciate the distinction and transparency, I think.
To break it down: "This is sponsored by" and "This is an ad for" are quite different.
I love the looks of the functionality of this camera, like it would be a lot of fun to use. It's just way outside my budget atm, so I'll have to save up for a while I think! 😊

You are either on the Gaspe coast or on the Madeline island. I grew up on the Gaspe coast in a small town of New Carlisle. There's a chain of restaurents both on the coast and one on Madeline island called Dixie Lee. I HOPE that you tried it. I have also been experimenting with magnetic mounts from Snap Mounts. It's so cool to be able to stick it on a pole and talk, instead of having to install the tripod (I mostly film on LG G8X phones... got 3 of them for RUclips lol). The thing is to not forget the camera on the pole when the bus shows up😂 (of course I've done it lol. On Denman.)

Yeah, of course! I kept it closer to eye level so it appears more natural, rather than high and looking down, but you can use it however you'd like.

There are so many applications this camera can be used for, the mind boggles. Thanks for your coverage and, wow! Some of the other comments are awesome. I think I would not use it on the shovel of firing a steam engine though - unless I had a guaranteed insurance for a replacement, magnet or no magnet. Enjoy your vacation Mike.

The hat clip may be upside down - i think THINK you can attach it so the cam is ABOVE the brim so it's not in your face while using it.
I think this depends on the shot you're going for. If you're looking for a shot that simulates the wearer point of view, then this would be closer to what they are actually seeing since it's closer to eye level than it would be on the top of the hat. Looks like it may be designed to be used either way, which is cool, because that's even more available shot options.
Was there a insta360 camera endorsement deadline or something? You’re the fourth person that I subscribed to that is doing a video sponsored by insta360 camera. They all got uploaded around the same time.

im very curious to know how Insta360 handles horseback riding speeds and falls, I use a GoPro for that right now because i trust it not to fall off, but it's bulky and painful if you fall on the chest harness
That's a very specific question... Since I haven't tested it while horseback riding, I'm not sure I can answer it, but you did watch me fall off a kite buggy, so maybe it's similar?
@@DownieLive give it a few months and someone will have a review for it with horses :) the kite buggy fall was actually what made me wonder exactly how strong that magnet is!

I wish that I could afford a camera like that. It would be great for my channel. So, it has an app for your phone? So, I could then save the videos to my photo gallery on my phone, and I could use the footage in Imovies.
