- So I bought a Numark Mixstream Pro from guitar center last Friday and returning it because it was defective (Video on my channel) they give me another (BRAND NEW) to give it a 2nd chance...
Open box, they do need to show it to the customer, this is the only one I don't see on displays, that's how I bought mine
Someone could have sent it back resealed, said they didn’t open it and maybe they didn’t check? but pretty disappointing nonetheless.
I had the same problem with a DDJ400 from a local store. It looked to be brand new, all wrapped properly, but was covered in fingerprints. I decided to clean it and then tested it before I made a decision. In the end I kept it, but it does leave a bit of a sour taste.
I am actually worried because some units have issues right out of the box. I now have doubts getting it
Yes my first one had issues, that’s why I went to guitar center to exchange it for this one. It least this one works fine
I always get my product from Sweetwater, Guitar Center is like the Giant to Harris Teeter.
The same thing almost happened to me yesterday at Guitar Center but I noticed that the tape was sliced open and asked for another unit.
Good for you. The one I got the box and tape were just like new
They probably opened it to test it. Because of returns coming in 🤔. And I'd chill out with using the fader like that or it's gonna fade🤭
How do you update firmware on this?
Wow and it was supposed to be new? I have one fro guitar city that’s unopened and wrapped up for a Xmas gift. Now I’m worried

Take the plastic off the touch sensitive platters
My jogger wheels not scratching only changing the Tempo and I took the plastic off

Guitar center has had a very bad reputation for years doing shit like this and sell you open stuff at full price. This is why I order most of my stuff from Zzounds (within 2 days new) or Sweetwater (within 3 days new) Guitar Center is garbage don’t order or buy from them if you don’t have to.

THAT’S NOT BRAND NEW maybe change your title to open box. hermano I got it brand new it cames with label logo stickers a white wrap foil and screnn had a plastic cover and no hair inside lol tell me I hope you bought elsewhere and don’t forget to update with your cpu

BTW guitar center never told me that it was a OPEN BOX 😖
