The ratio of the quality of your content to the number of subs is the greatest disconnect I may have ever seen! Amazing videos, I'm obsessed so keep em coming please 🤩
Same thought. I literally air-played your video on TV while I’m writing on iPad. That gave me travelling vibes in this Corona Era. Greeting from HongKong
I know why? I feel like I am only getting 50%. Talk. A picture may tell a 1000 words, so even 500 words is half the picture. I like your words, give us a bigger picture?
Je capote sur tes séquences vidéo!! Et j’adore tes photos; le cadrage, la luminosité! Et ce blog où l’image et le son parle…sans aucun dialogue! Le pont, la plage dynamique des couleurs! Le choix des sujets! Bravo. I love your video sequences!! And I love your photos; the framing, the brightness! The bridge and the dynamic range of colors! And this blog where image and sound speak…without any dialogue! The choice of topics! Well done! Bravo!
I can feel the authenticity, I can feel the serenity, I can feel the waves the sounds the nostalgia, and more importantly I feel like I'm in the video. Honestly man I'm not good with words to describe the feeling I get watching these kinda videos. Please keep pushing ❤
Ah man, watching this made me a little homesick. Oregon really is a dope place and captures on film really well. Was totally expecting there to be commentary on this, but find it pretty rad that it’s silent and reels you in to the art being created
I just wanted to tell you that your video was so poetic and beautiful that it almost makes me cry. Thank you so much for bringing me so much memories! I'm also really inspired by your work. Keep going!
I watched some of your videos and all i want to say is thank you. Your channel made my day. This life you are living made me realize how wrongly i am living mine. I want to adapt this, but with my own way. Ill grab a disposable and hit the mountains tomorrow. Your whole channel describes exactly what i wanted to shoot but i couldnt describe it. Now I can. Now I know how. I feel like i need this. I really just need the nature, and a button to press to remind me of that. Thank you Cody.
Genin, I can't tell you how much that means to me. Beyond the photography and traveling, creating something of value for people like yourself is really why I do this. To be able to catalyze any small positive change in another person is an incredible privilege. I hope you find something beautiful out in the mountains. Cheers to change!
Man this video is just beautiful. I admire your work and the images you took i'ts all so pleasant and makes u feel so comfortable. Please keep creating more content like this.
This is such a beautiful video! Not just aesthetic and nature beauty but the music, the pace, the lighting - everything feels so relaxing, in harmony. Great job!
I found your channel last week and you’ve quickly become one of my favorite RUclipsrs between your vast technical knowledge, sheer talent, authenticity, and passion for the arts. Beautiful video as always, hope to see more from you soon!
this video is so amazing honestly! you are so talented. Maybe more of a filmmaker than a photographer? Keep this channel going! You'll reach a big audience one day for sure!
@@Codacolor Yes I understand, there’s gotta be cons in there somewhere, to almost everything else as well. For me one that is showing is Solitude. The views are amazing, the fresh air you inhale in the morning is nice and discovering new places is enriching, but for me, sharing all of this with someone else, or a group of people I love dearly just makes it 10x better. Can you elaborate more on how else it could be not as fun. I’ve never tried this lifestyle and my knowledge is very limited. Stay safe x
okay I usually love RUclips. really hate it right now though, can't believe I'm JUST now discovering your channel. 10/10 content man, screw RUclips for not pushing these videos at me, before. this deserves so much more recognition. keep it up man!!!
I was looking for film photography recommendations and have stumbled upon your Mju video. I watched this after I finished watching it and have instantly clicked subscribe. Great content. Makes me want to go back to my passion, which is photography.
I love your content, it's so beautifully made and so relaxing to watch. You really inspire me to get better at photography and to be more creative in general. Keep up the superb work!
Just found you on youtube, amazing videos, love the look, would love a color grading tutorial on how you get such a filmic look from your sony in videos.
Wow... what a beautiful video and photography. It's relaxing to watch. As the title suggests it's also pretty lonely but we all need to be alone sometimes, whether it's out of choice or otherwise. Do you like travelling alone?
I love traveling both with friends and alone. They're both different adventures. I actually made a whole video on the solitude of traveling along. If you're interested, you can watch it here! : ruclips.net/video/0V7yoPJWv9Q/видео.html
P.S. those are some nice pictures Cody keep it up bro i would not change anything I see what you see in those pictures and how you are trying to project your artistic style. ;)
Amazing footage and snapshots! Do you know if the Pura Vida Surf Shop is owned by someone from Costa Rica or influenced by the Costa Rican motto? Greetings from Costa Rica, big fan of your work!
Ive really been enjoying your videos recently Cody, you inpried me to mvoe out of my digital photography world and try film out. Would love to mess around and edit some of these photos!
Great video dude! Enjoyed the calm vibes and it made me feel as if i was there. Im in NYC and the noise and lack of nature really makes me want to visit OR Coast. Have you tried the pano kit with your Mamiya yet? I recently rented the Hasseblad Xpan and love the pano, but would still want the larger format with the Mamiya.
Thank you Kevin. The ny city sounds sometimes seem inescapable. Though it's a comfort to know that the stillness is still there whenever we seek it. I have not picked up a pano kit. Mostly because I can't justify the cost. To me, it makes just as much sense to just shoot 120 and crop in rather than spend a bunch of extra money to shoot the same amount of frames (for the same frame size) on 35mm. That being said, the Xpan looks amazing.
Thanks, Adam! On my Mamiya 7ii I shoot with the 65mm and the 150mm, which respectively translate to roughly 35mm and 70mm fields of view on a 35mm camera.
I've been on a photography bender on RUclips and found you today. What the fuck, bro. Keep crushing it. I'm absolutely inspired to start making stuff again.
Am I going to buy a Mju and start taking photos of everything I see because I am a fanboy of your work? Yes. Should I invest in buying other cameras to record stuff properly before doing so? Yes. Am I gonna regret it? Not really.
Cody bro! you are back at your place have you given up on van life or changed to part time van life? anyway so are you thinking of coming to Canada, man! you can take some nice pictures here and increase your skill, think about it! till next time bro your friend from Canada like I all ways say (live free or die trying ) and may God guide you bro. ;)

Really well put together - the silent style is so appealing to watch through
Thank you, Ari! I hope a bit of the Oregon peace translated through the screen.

Lots of big things in store for 2022. Thank you so much!

I'm really glad you found it enjoyable. Sorry to tug on the homesick strings. Oregon really is such a special place. Thank you.

Just terrific. I felt like I was alone in that cabin. Beautiful pictures.
You and me both, Gary. Thank you!!
this video is so amazing honestly! you are so talented. Maybe more of a filmmaker than a photographer? Keep this channel going! You'll reach a big audience one day for sure!
Thank you! I think you may be right; definitely feel like more of a filmmaker, but I have so much love for both. Appreciate you!
So good! The level of production in this - its basically a short film. Keep up the great work!
you are the most underrated youtuber imho. Really great content, especially for aspiring photographers / filmmakers like myself. Thank you!
No thank you, David. That's very kind of you!

Thank you so much! I'm a homebody at heart as well, but that's just not where the juicy stuff is!
Such a beautiful video. You're just out here living THE life!
Thank you! But trust me, it doesn't always look like this.

Stunning. Impossible to pick a favorite photo or video frame. Making me really want to head over to the west coast :)
but if I had to pick a favorite photo it would be 0:48
Let me know if you do! I'd love to show you a few spots. I could only imagine the stuff you would create over here.
It is insane that this video has less than 500 views. Very enjoyable.
Appreciate that, thank you, Bryan! You've been making some really lovely stuff recently as well!

Amazing footage and snapshots! Do you know if the Pura Vida Surf Shop is owned by someone from Costa Rica or influenced by the Costa Rican motto? Greetings from Costa Rica, big fan of your work!
Thanks, Ricardo! and I'm not sure. I've never met the owners, but that shop has been there for a very long time!
Great video. Nice photos!
BTW, what is your favorite Nespresso?
Thank you so much! And tbh, I'm not sure. I'm not super picky ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nice T2! Could we get a review on it?
Planning on doing one sometime early 2022!

Criminally under subbed!

Tbh, I licked the film like you did in this video. It doesn't taste good, lol.
haha no it does not
