You might want to put the crank baits away until the spring until the water warms up, generally the fish get lazy when the water cools down and won't chase cranks, they won't want to chase and use up energy when the water is cold. Try slowing things down, long pauses etc, maybe use use jigs heads, cheb rigs or fish a texas rig with soft plastic lures. I went out Saturday on our local canal and the Perch were hard to come by but they were taking a 40mm creature bait on a flexible cheb rig / jig head.
I would first like to thank you for this video, secondly i would thank you for the way you present a young lad of your age and not a sign of swearing. other lads of your age think is ok to swear when filming they think it makes the video sound interesting WRONG so keep up the good work looking forward to the next one.
Great stuff mate, love your enthusiasm, I live right by that stretch, I have to admit it's tough going there, it's good in the summer evenings at that lock with a whip and maggots, once again great content, and tight lines. 😊.
caught my first couple Pike in this canal when i first started fishing some decent fish in there, try out some 10-20cm paddle tails and slowly retrieve them with light jig heads, they will definitely get you some action! wish you luck brother
little tip young man.. while youre walking beside the canal keep your lure in the water. youll be surprised whats by your feet :) ps. new subscriber :) keep on at it :)
When the weather gets cold try some creature baits on a ned or weedless rig Texas or Cheb work well or failing that dropshotting works well in the colder months. Great video buddy
