The Wheaty you dug at the 8 minute mark is the kind of sound that I concentrate on and is the big reason why I have dug hundreds of silver coins and over a thousand Wheats per year since owning the Nox 800 (Manticore on the way) 2020 - 311 2021 - 406 2022 - 235 You have shown that the Manticore can go deeper and that is encouraging - HH :)
That place reminds me of the ball field I’ve been hunting lately. The only place I know of where I can dig a pinpointer deep hole and pop out a stinkin clad. Lol. Enjoyed the video.
Great video showing how the manticore sounds off on deeeep targets utilizing various tones/settings! 👍🏼👍🏼. Well done! A lot of hunters might have given up on those deepies, thinking it’s just deep iron…you persevered on, and that only comes from experience and trusting what your machine is telling you…..so, it seems like AT HC, Normal/simple tones, recovery speed 4-5, along with any sensitivity in the 20’s was enough to get you to a foot down on coin-sized targets.
@@mowerdog I detected with a ML Explorer for nearly 12 years before buying a Nox. The increased target separation and depth of the Nox, not to mention its super light weight compared to my old boat anchor machine, was just what the doctor ordered for me…..this manticore definitely looks like a step up from the older Nox machines….I see you told a few others that that you sold your trusty E-Trac…I’m sure you have no regrets on that decision now….but it probably produced/performed well for you, just like my Explorer did…
It's great to see the Manticore hitting legit 10"+ targets. I'm not so sure I'd want to dig that deep for clad though but you never know til you dig it!
It goes deep for sure. Sometimes, it's very tiring if the ground is hard. But it seems the good targets are either masked or deep anymore. Most easy targets are gone.
What a great place to hunt. Nice job running the detector. I guess it figures that you would get a quarter-back at a football field.(feeble attempt at humor)
Great video and great commentary on how you are running your Manticore.
Thank you!

That's a lot of Wheaties!
@@mowerdog Wheaties are only a sign that silver is near and I can only hope to match my silver coin totals of the last three years :)
Another great and informative video. Thanks
Thank you. I'm still learning too

I hear ya.
Thought I saw a woodchuck ready to move in on that last hole; lol. Learned a lot about Core performance on this field.
Lol. Indeed
Great hunt, thanks for sharing. I thought for sure you had silver on that last target. I'm down to 4 on the list for my Manticore.
I was hoping..... It's hard to be patient waiting for the Manticore

Yep. As you can tell, I wasn't pushing the machine either. I may start trying to go 2 feet deep next time! Lol...I appreciate your kind words.

@captnse My etrac hasn't sold yet. But yes, after buying my etrac, my silver count went up drastically.
When I get those deep coins, I turn my pinpointer to high sensitivity ( three beeps ) and I hear the target around 6 inches.
Mine is always on high. I might have a weak pinpointer? My wife says my pinpointer isn't what it used to be! Lol

Enjoyed your video. Keep at it. Thanks.

Fantastic Video.. What a good Hunt.. Peace
It was eye opening.
You upgraded to manticore! NICE!!!!!
Yes!
What program were you in on the deepest coin at the end of the video?
All terrain high conductor. But all terrain low conductor is almost as deep.
@@mowerdog thanks for sharing😉
Good demonstration of depth try filming with the sun in front of you reducing shadows
Good advice
Impressive...
The machine is for sure....
Thanks for vid.
My pleasure
Garret AT Pro hit a clad dime at a hard 11 inches......
Nice

That's a good joke! It has been nice to hunt there.
