I like how the things they are saying are basically all true. It's always what's implied that is often stupid and have so many logic leaps. Like it's true that people's character matters more than their race or identities. But if a big company have like 90% male employee despite roughly equal amount of applications and have almost not a single colored person in higher positions, would you be surprised if a government investigation finds out they have serious work place harassment problems and have a statistically significant racial pay gap even when controlled for positions?
The two things are not mutually exclusive. And this applies to almost everything in their talking points. They have to strawman every progressive position as some crazy all or nothing extreme and then declare victory as they themselves claim the position of nuance and common sense.

It isn't easily boiled down to this, but a large factor I believe is the trend that younger folks lean more liberal & left, & as you age you get more conservative & prude with your resources.
Look towards free education or affordable/free healthcare. They always say "whose gonna pay for it? I didn't grow up with those things, why should people after me have better things that I didn't have."
It's envy. You should want people after you to have a better time in life, it leads to a healthier happier society. But people are so envious of other's having better things or a better quality of life, that they seemingly want to just strip it away from other's. Who knows, maybe me & you will end up that way too?

It's normal for fascism to first present itself reasonable and polite. It's why the term "mask off" is a thing.
They are not nice or polite. Their explicit goal is the discrimination and hatred of "the others". They want and advocate for violence.
The fact that they are not polite anymore is just because they don't need to. Their ideals are mainstream now. They tried an insurrection and nothing happened. Why hide anymore?
