That doomsday food is the worst. It is so goddamn overpriced. A 100 bucks for 1 week of food. I am 100% certain it doesn’t even cost them 1 buck. And it is so dumb. Canned and dried goods are dirt cheap and also keep for years. You can get 20lbs of rice for a couple of bucks and that is like a 100 servings, 100kg wholesale for 50 bucks or so, that’s a 1,000 servings. Stays good for 10 years in a bag, 30+ years vacuum sealed. Salt stays good forever. Dried beans last longer than us. So with those 3 things you are covered in case of an insane catastrophe where you can only survive because of your rations and somehow you don’t get raided by the hoardes of people that didn’t prepare and are dying from hunger.
And personally if something like that happened I hope I am one of the first to go. Why the fuck would you want to go through that. Why is that even on your mind?
