I'm a New Mexican and its awesome to hear the legends sing about my homeland. And yes, there is something in Roswell, but if you've ever been there, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from human's vs alien.😆👽
These guys make my day. Biff's vocals it seems the older he gets the better he sounds.
Been a fan of Saxon since 1981, saw them in 1986 in Rochester NY, 2015 in Cleveland OH, 2018 in Wilkes Barre PA and will see them again next week in Orlando. Great description, they are the foundation of heavy metal and Hellfire And Damnation kicks ass!

Your comparison about playing the same song over and over vs playing the same "sound" is perfect! It's why, after rediscovering them in the late 90's, after loving them in the 80's, then thinking they called it quits after Destiny, they have become my favorite band for the last 25-28 years! I await with bated breath, every new release by them. After 2 failed attempts to see them in concert in the 2000's (they couldn't get work visas for the 2005 Lionheart tour and the only date I could get my newly required passport for to cross from Canada to the US, the whole festival in Iowa got cancelled), I've seen them every tour they've done in the US since! I'm a superfan and may even travel overseas to see them next (after Detroit in May)!
Saw Saxon last August, with Nazareth and Uriah Heep playing before them. If anyone in the crowd came for Nazareth or Uriah Heep I'd imagine they were in for a surprise when Saxon came on. They still rock hard on stage. Nice to see Brian Tatler from Diamond Head, with the flying V, playing with them now.
Saw Saxon live in Greece last June and they are still as good as they were in the 80s. Fantastic band that never disappoints. Great Reaction. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺🤘
This is British Metal if there was dictionary to define it Saxon would be part that definition of what is British Metal Sound I remember first hearing them back in 1980 on Q107 in Toronto the Midnight Metal Hour, all these new metal bands from England Maiden Tygers of Pan Tang Leppard Saxon , it was the sound of British Heavy Metal it was great moment in Metal

Rocking performance. The drum was the driving force in this, not that the vocals weren't essential.

Legends, Nostalgia, professionals, easy and pleasant to listen, used to listen to Saxon 30-40 years ago with "Dallas 1pm", "747 (STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT)" etc. were really catchy and memorable, but this was not catchy, it was nice but more as background music. Sorry for any Saxon core fans, but this just doesn't hit me to the face anymore...
It's all subjective! What's pleasing to one's ears, may not appeal as much to another's. No need to apologize!
The title track is the best song on the album overall like carpe diem album better
Ya. I absolutely love this tune and the title track. Great album, but to choose one, I'd pick Carpe Diem over this one. Strong 2nd place though!
