Whilst I respect people for one aspect of preferring to solo for some perhaps arbitrary sense of self-accomplishment, it also seems counter-intuitive due to the fact that it's a team-based game regardless. Like if we were speaking deathmatch, and you were rank 1 on the 1v1 ladder, that obviously would be reason to feel proud of yourself within reason. Whilst I understand the general concept of then feeling slightly less satisfied for accomplishing the same on a 2v2 TEAM deathmatch ladder, League is another beast entirely... I don't think this would even be as big of an issue if they just brought Ranked Teams back. Nobody takes flex queue seriously, Clash is too infrequent. Playing with a consistent group of homies you trust in terms of performance and personality feels way better and makes the game way more enjoyable as a whole in comparison to having to perform blood sacrifices to receive the blessings of four teammates with limbs.
