That was so Beautiful. Two Beautiful Women that have strength and courage. Awesome voices. That song makes my Heart and Soul dance. Thank you for that song. ❤
Lee Ann, She is a incredible singer. I love her voice. Beautiful song writer. Talented, sexy, and a great voice! I love listening to her. I grew up on country, I grew up on Lee Ann Womack.
Lee Ann Womack should have sung this song with Olivia Newton-John. Despite the fact that Olivia's voice has changed with her age, she would have delivered a beautiful rendition. Gloria's voice was not suitable for this song.
Estefan is nasal, just as she was in her prime. The harder she pushes, the more pronounced it becomes. She either can't correct it, or doesn't try to. By contrast, Womack sings purely from the throat. It's why she has more clarity despite having an otherwise squeaky voice. She has excellent control.
Totally disagree! While Gloria's upper register isn't quite how it used to be, her lower register is richer and more soulful than ever. "I Hope You Dance" is a song that has a higher register, in which case doesn't suit Gloria's voice that well. However, her collaboration with Chaka Khan, in this concert, suits her perfectly.
I love Gloria, but the sad fact is that she just cannot sing anymore. Some singers can live to a very advanced age and their voices hardly seem to change at all (examples are Cher and Tony Bennett), but with others it really sounds strained and forced once they get into their late 50s or 60s. I am sorry to say that Gloria is in the latter category.
This song has the unmatched ability to reduce me to tears every single time
Agree 100!!
gloria said in an interview that this song is one of few that makes her cry! I can feel for real the passion for this song
this is one of my favorite songs, and to have Gloria Estefan added to it is a real treat.
It doesn’t matter who or when each time I find this song I share it with my daughters….it means that much. I love it
I love how humble Gloria is... even at the end she steps back and allows the crowd to cheer to cheer for Lee Ann. Gloria is a true lady.

Its too high in musical key for Gloria...its why theres no power behind her voice..bummer..she could have made this more awesome
