    Trovo delizioso il modo che le belle e brave artiste hanno escogitato per rappresentare questo brano, con la gestualità e pochi accorgimenti scenografici alludono al fatto che si tratta di un melodramma del barocco romano, nel teatro dei mecenati Barberini, capienza tremila persone, era di gran moda nella prima metà del Seicento questo stile, Stefano Landi poi era prolifico e geniale, ricco di ispirazione drammatica... Giustamente le tre cantanti indossano abiti e scarpe in stile non secentesco ma " moderno", in realtà intenzionalmente fuori moda, in modo ironico: oggi le regie operistiche abusano nell'attualizzare, loro indossano un abito con suggestioni botticelliane e scarpe ...enfatiche...Aggiungo che essere artisti russi dà una marcia in più, il sangue non è acqua come usa dire, aggiungici la magnifica cultura musicale e letteraria russa e molte cose si spiegano

      @@tonyvillamotte4339 Why? because of the costumes, flowers and gesturing? Well, in that case, just listen and close your eyes! Even if what the eyes see, might not be "authentic" (I think this concept is difficult in any way), it comes close to what I´d call lush or exuberant (not my personal taste, but hey!) and was that not a thing at baroque courts?

      Actually, their voices are, in a way, anti-operatic: high resonators, no vibrato, except on very long notes, and every word is heard clearly. :-)

      @@KaterinaLK WTH does "anti-operatic" mean??? It sounds like a gastrointestinal disease. The three divettolincelette is more like it. I've heard a lot worse than them in my time, that much I'll hand them, but their intonation is spotty and they can't act worth squat. They shouldn't get put in videos if they don't have the "feel" of what it is they're doing; if this video was posted because someone thought it was "cute" then they may as well take a Kalashnikov to their careers, because it is embarrassing, frankly. I might hire the instrumentalists - they do a decent job despite their looks - but not those three singer wannabes.

    The lesson of this video is: Don't try to get three Eastern European 20th C. chicks act like the Three Graces 16th C. style. Whoever the director of this video was ought to get turned into a castrato singer. The whole thing is beyond pathetic, including the Beatles look-alike haircuts sported by the instrumentalists. This entire video belongs in a post-communist Russian hotel lobby setting at best. Where it belongs at worst I'll refrain from spelling out.
