Does not look like a great loving home to me! First horse to the left shows serious behavior issues. My feeling is, this a typical horse hording, a horse does not belong into a box.
@@JoFuSoA well everyone is entitled to their opinion. The horse you are referring to is Cherokee. He started these issues when he was incredibly young, due to being raised and bred into a large TWH show barn. The stress from training at such an early age affected him. He also does this while in pasture at times. We do not screen what type of issues, behavioral or physical issues, that horses may or may not have, when we give them a second chance. Did you listen long enough to hear they were only put inside the barn due to an upcoming snowstorm? I agree horses are best when left as natural as possible which includes being in pasture as much as possible. As far as being a horder situation as defined here- ...."Accumulation of numerous animals, which has overwhelmed that person's ability to provide even minimal standards of nutrition, sanitation, and veterinary care; Failure to acknowledge the deteriorating condition of the animals (including disease, starvation, and even death) and the household environment (severe overcrowding, very unsanitary conditions); and− Failure to recognize the negative effect of the collection on their own health and well-being, and on that of other household members" I could not disagree with you more.

😍You are wonderful people. I just came across your video and loved it. I’ll subscribe right now. I.m sorry for this horse that is non stop moving side to side. What is up with him? Just curious and wishing him to calm down. Be safe all of you during the storm. God bless you all. 🙏
Hi and thank you so much for subscribing ❤️🐴❤️. The big black n white paint Cherokee, (aka: CherBear, Uncle Bear) is such a sweet boy, his issue started way back when he was a youngster. Apparently a sweet lady bought him from a big ,high end Tennessee Walking Breeder, that put him into HEAVY training when he was only 18 months old. He fell apart due to the pressure, training methods, and pretty much everything about his first couple of years. Once she saw him she knew he needed to get out of there. She said it was the most money she had ever spent to “rescue “ a horse. She had him for several years before he came to us. He is worse with his weaving when stalled up , feeding time, or even at times when just standing at the fence line (Will actually let him out of the stall this morning so he could decompress and walk around the isle way a bit .) I (Lisa) have done some body work on him and even then he still has a hard time unwinding. I am actually taking a level 2 cranial sacral class so I can work in him some more. This therapy deals with the horse's spine and central nervous system, and it is able to correct physical or emotional patterns in any part of the equine body. Hopefully each time he will find more relief. PS he took Yadah under his protection when we first weaned him from his mom. He loves Yadah. Cherokee is beautifully gaited and calm when ridden.
Love how much you care for your horses!! And they all look great for seniors, and I mean seniors when you are saying late 20s ☺️ Glad you understand the weaving….sad but all you can do is manage it.
@@suzycue9278 Yes, I thought perhaps, he would slow down a bit. He is such a hard "keeper" due to all the energy he uses to cope with his emotions. It’s from when he was very young and out into heavy trading at a Tennessee Walking Horse Training barn. He kinda mentally fell apart from the pressure they place on him.
There is not much we can do to stop his weaving. I will continue to decompress his emotions with cranial sacral therapy. He was from a large show barn when he was young, they put to much pressure on him and he started this behavior to cope. It became a loop that he goes into once any excitment or stress is triggered.
@@ajones427 HI Thanks for the suggestion , he is not fond of Jolly Balls, or the green apple lick. He is worse when in the stall, all of the horses were in due to a storm we have with severe wind chill and low temps. Currently they are all out with free choice hay and roaming around .
