OMG, I think I figured it out! In the end it was Dimash's son who was leading the people in the end. Because Dimash was killed after he killed His "friend." His little girl was killed by the enemy. His wife gave birth to his son, who grew up to lead the people to be united under one sky. This is my interpretation. I could be wrong. Love this epic piece. Let it be the first of many that will unite the world.

Hi guys! Thank you for your sincere reaction. When I first heard this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching! 😢😢
Dimash has worked hard for 3 years on this MV, and it turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE, for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts in trying to bring the world together in love, peace and unity. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end; 2) Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end; 3) The young girl, became Dimash’s future wife who gave birth to his son at the end, and Dimash's daughter who was killed by the Piper's army. They were all torn by the war.
For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism,, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony.

The way you summarize it,Dimash was telling the story of JesusChrist& what He came to earth for. D told Christ’s metaphorically which is really ironic considering D is a Muslim &that religion does not subscribe to Christ’s origin,end,divinity or prophecy. In fact,its sacred writings command to exterminate all infidels& specifically identifies all Catholics,other Christians& Jews as the infidels. So Dimash’s masterful video& beautiful song gives me hope that perhaps he is a reformed Muslim& not a traditional or fundamental Wahhabist who believes that a select $1B+ ppl must be exterminated.

Not many people know that Dimash is deeply immersed not only in pop singing and opera music, but also in sacred music too. I think (and this is evident from this video) that he has a deep interest and understanding of not only the symbolism of the major world religions, but also some of the ancient mystical teachings.
A little background...
On February 4, 2019, a historic meeting was held in Abu Dhabi between Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayyib, as a result of which the document "Human brotherhood for the sake of world peace and common life" was signed.
The ideas set out in the document "Fraternity of Humanity for World Peace and Common Life" were developed in the Fratelli tutti (All Brothers) encyclical published on October 4, 2020 by Pope Francis, dedicated to universal brotherhood and social friendship.
And on September 14, 2022, in the homeland of Dimash - in Kazakhstan, the Congress of Spiritual Leaders of the Major World Religions was held. At this Congress, Dimash met and spoke with the spiritual leaders of the world, including Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayib.
And it is very symbolic that Dimash's first performance of the song "The Story of One Sky" took place there - at the Congress in Kazakhstan, as part of the cultural program prepared by the host country for the guests of this world forum.
The text at the end of the video is a direct quote from the aforementioned appeal to the world "The brotherhood of man for world peace ..".
Now to the plot of the video...
The storyline of this video is built on the interconnection of many different symbols, the understanding of the purpose and essence of which lifts the veil of secrecy for us and reveals the deep philosophical meaning inherent in this video, which is, in fact, the artistic embodiment of the ideas of that very document - “Human brotherhood for the sake of peace worldwide...".
The first symbol that appears at the beginning of the video (a plate of strict geometric lines resembling a triangle in shape) is a gnomon from a marine compass sundial. A triangular blade attached to such a watch cast a shadow on the sundial, and a perforated hole inside the triangle projected the light of the sun onto the watch dial. The gnomon was used by navigators for both timing and navigation: one of the gnomon's contour lines was always oriented to true north (like a magnetized needle in a modern compass).
Further, according to the plot of the video, we see that the guy who at the beginning of the video saved his younger friend, who almost drowned, could not accept his gratitude - because of the feeling of jealousy that flooded over him. He never put on the pendant (gnomon) given to him by his rescued friend, and even crumpled the pendant given to him in his fist in a fit of jealousy, envy and hopeless anger. The symbolism of this moment is that the bent gnomon will never again be oriented to true north.
Having broken the gnomon, this guy, figuratively speaking, lost his life and moral compass. And then we see where the anger hidden in his soul led him - he becomes a military leader, dictator and murderer, in fact - a conductor of the ideas of darkness and the embodiment of human evil. This is indicated by the emblem in the form of a modified outline of the gnomon, as a military insignia on the uniform of the commander and his soldiers. But their gnomon not only lost its original form, but also lost that inner “window” that was originally inside it and - in theory - should let sunlight pass through itself, for the benefit of people.
A gnomon that has lost the ability to pass the light of the Sun through itself also loses the ability to show a person the direction to a true guide, including a spiritual one. When a person distorts the original meaning of a symbol that is important to him, he turns it into something that contradicts the idea, essence, meaning, purpose of this symbol. And this something that has lost its connection with the light becomes a new symbol for a person, devoid of soul and light, blind, a compass, no longer oriented towards the light, but towards the darkness.

Sad because it’s the true reality of war… innocent are victims. And in this day in age, why? Why can’t things be talked out, worked out, why must war take place? Why can’t we all live In peace?
Dimash is the kid that found the box. The pieces he made into necklaces are part of a mariners navigation device. The piece is the gnomon. The boy who almost drowned was turned down by the girl. When given the gnomon he bends it in his fist. Hence he can no longer navigate in the correct way.

This Painful Masterpiece is Dimash’s soul pleading to the World. I have no words, as my heart, body and soul are aching for Dimash. I believe Dimash Qudaibergen Has thousands of souls in him. I am going to try to give a personal synopsis of this video even though I understand that I cannot even bring to the foremost the most incredible vocal performance that Dimash has ever given although, I will simply state that Dimash is the most amazing vocal talent on the face of the earth at this time and might be arguably of all time - I have heard many of the "best singers" in the world. The writing is incredible, the cinematography is insane, and I would state that this is a better movie in 13 minutes that I have seen from 30 years of movie experiences. In the first part of the video, we see a seeing an attempt between real friends that has many symbolic meaning of water in many cultures and religions and I am assuming that Piper is the young man providing life supportive attempts. The protagonist who I will refer to as Dimash further, is rescued from his death and has a changed outlook on life based on is expression on being revived. They establish friendships including a symbol that they wear around their necks. There is inference that the girl shown chooses the older boy Piper over our protagonist who we see later. We are then thrown into horrible view of a war where Piper has become in charge "to provide freedom and safety dividing people into groups associated by cultural, political and religious beliefs" which is commonly used in the past 1000 years to kill millions or billions of individuals (see the history of the past 20th century) and Piper used the very same symbol that they had made as friends as a symbol of the order of totalitarianism he has taken. We see that many atrocities are being committed and that our protagonist Dimash is trying to fight against with all of the horrors of war included, including Dimash having to kill others. Dimash is reminded that he is protecting his wife and child - you can see the part of the video that shows him thinking about the both of them in the midst of the war and the representation of the symbol that was found on friendship and love which was place upon his daughter's neck prior before but it was changed in the viewing of Piper who has the symbol on his hat as a symbol of totalitarianism. Dimash remembers the symbol they have already placed around their neck. On the other side, we are told that his older friend who saved him earlier is now the premier of a totalitarian regime. Piper's wife (the girl earlier in the first part of the video who chose Piper) is pregnant and is expected to deliver. We are then shown the horrors of mass killing in a "war" including the murder of unarmed individuals and the lead up to a child shown initially with all innocence followed by the sound of a locking and loading of a gun. We are then brought back to our protagonist who returns after this only to find that all the individuals who were unarmed were brutally murdered by Piper's army. He is searching for his family after intense fighting and pain and horribly comes upon the body of his beautiful daughter who was killed (no words that I can express here about that) and we are also introduced to the incredible pain that is needed to bring a new life at the same time he is experiencing that most catastrophic pain in his life comparing and yet contrasting the pain of bringing a child into the world as well as losing a child by any parent. The music in the "yodeling" form is beyond incredible to express both the pain of giving birth as well as losing a child to include the sobbing overtones in this form of music and the acting is simply incredible here requiring all participants to draw from pain that most of us would never understand. The protagonist then seeks revenge to Piper and kills Piper in revenge at the same time Piper's wife who has the symbol around her neck (the girl seen in childhood scene) is giving birth and is shown to die after the process of a labor gone horribly wrong surrounded by many people of all different cultures and beliefs at the very same time that Piper dies and Dimash dies. Dimash is killed yet we are brought back to the same water symbolism as I imagine this was his dying thoughts where we are told (his vocal tone is scream) that "We choose life" which echoes as a call from Dimash on his death! We then see that after Piper's wife dies in childbirth, the symbol is handed down and it is my opinion that at the end of the video, we see the child of Piper and his wife (not the protagonist), based on the symbol being placed on the newborn's neck, leading people to a better place of loving and tolerance and acceptance. Just my interpretation and there is still more that I probably missed such as the flash back to their childhood experiences after the protagonist's death. A phenomenal (unearthly) vocal performance, a phenomenal writing, a phenomenal directing, a phenomenal cinematography and simply a phenomenal experience even though it is hard to view, but the end message is very appropriate. I need to watch this even more times to see the intricacies and meanings wrapped in intricacies and meaning. Even if you disagree with any of my synopsis, how can you not be moved by this?

It was his Requiem. The message is about war. Instead of "Them" and "They", it should be "We", as are all of one human family. The pain of giving birth, to bring life into the world, can not compare to the pain of death of your child. A part of our humanity dies in each of us with every senseless death from war.

The sad thing is it is happening in several countries. Dimash has created a masterpiece with the message that we have to stop the wars. We all have become immune to what is going on as it's so common place & we all need to wake up & think of the realities of war & the suffering going on all the time in the world. War is a money-making machine & the world has become more concerned with money & power & to some powers that be, lives don't matter, suffering is seen as a necessity & it's so wrong. We need to stop accepting this way of thinking & come together as one & say enough is enough. The problem is getting people to stand together as a whole. That brings us to the different religions & unfortunately there is fear & distrust there too. In Afghanistan they have a religious building where all religions go to pray & practice their faiths. I think that is brilliant & a place to start, maybe all countries should do the same, after all surely the God being praised is the same God even though he's called by different names &, as Dimash's video says, we're all living under one sky, so maybe that's a place to start. Он сам написал музыку и работал над сценарием последние три года. Его голос, которым он передаёт всю боль и все эмоции в этом видео послании, просто феноменален! Димаш уникальный и неповторимый человек во всех смыслах, как будто не из этой реальности, имеющий мудрость и опыт множества прожитых жизней. Это невозможно объяснить с научной точки зрения.
Можно только восхищаться мудростью и сердечностью Димаша, который сотворил этот шедевр, по сути своей молитву за всё человечество. Призыв к всеобщему миру на планете, к прекращению конфликтов и недопонимания между людьми разных национальностей. И всё это через мощнейший вокал Димаша, плач и мольбу, чтобы люди услышали и смогли понять и принять его посыл! Это почти физическая боль, которую начинаешь испытывать при просмотре этого видео, а эмоции просто зашкаливают. Ты полностью погружаешься в происходящее, не в силах оторвать свой взгляд от экрана, понимая, насколько глубокий смысл скрыт в этом видео послании.
К сожалению, не все смогут оценить этот призыв от Димаша, часть людей живёт во мраке собственной души и не способны прозреть в ближайшее время, а многие вообще утратили такие качества, как чуткость и сострадание. Ведь люди, имеющие в себе доброту и человечность, будут тянуться к свету и любви, которые излучает собой Димаш, ну а те, кто обделён этими качествами, будут продолжать жить во тьме, принося с собою в этот мир лишь негатив, подпитываясь отрицательными эмоциями, ведущими к разрушению собственной личности. У таких людей любое проявление доброты или милосердия со стороны других людей вызывает практически болезненные ощущения, острое неприятие и желание сделать что то плохое в ответ. Это как добро и зло, они всегда рядом, также как свет и тьма. В этом сущность самого человека и ничего с этим не поделаешь. Все мы рождаемся хорошими и добрыми, но каждый в итоге выбирает свой путь, каким ему быть в этой жизни. Одни, несмотря на сложные жизненные обстоятельства, будут всегда стремиться к свету и добру, другие, даже в условиях комфортной жизни, могут выбрать путь тьмы и разрушения. Но всегда остаётся Надежда, что этот мир изменится к лучшему, а для этого каждый человек должен вначале изменить себя. Ведь в каждом из нас есть и хорошее, и плохое, и каждый человек должен прежде всего захотеть стремиться к свету, наконец проснуться и взглянуть на мир другими глазами, через призму доброты и любви к ближнему. Только так, начиная изменять в лучшую сторону себя, мы способны в последствии изменить и весь мир. И именно к этому призывает нас всех Димаш, чтобы светлая сторона каждого человека восторжествовала и освещала весь его жизненный путь. А мы все в свою очередь должны оберегать Димаша от всякого зла и негатива, ведь он как лучик света, освещает нам путь во мраке, в который мы же сами себя и погрузили.
Хочется ещё раз от всего сердца поблагодарить Димаша за созданный им шедевр, за невероятно колоссальный труд, за доброе и открытое для каждого человека сердце, за чистую душу и человечность! Ведь, чтобы изменить этот мир к лучшему, каждый должен вначале изменить себя и посмотреть на мир другими глазами, через призму любви, милосердия и сострадания. Ведь все мы люди одной планеты и все живём под одним небом!

The philosophical subtext of the video's plot is obvious and quite simple. We come into this world and begin our life in it as innocent creatures. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The answer to this seemingly insoluble question is quite simple.
The problem is that over the millions of years of its existence, mankind has not found a way to keep evil under control. Do you know why? Because this is not a problem of mankind, but of man. This is a problem for each of us.
Crying for the loss of a beloved child and crying for the birth of a new life are presented in the video as a call and a response, reminding us that both death and birth are God's sacraments and that both of these sacraments are woven into the tapestry of the universe and our mortal life. We have no control over birth or death. Each of us can only influence life - our own, someone else's. And it depends on our actions what will become more in this world, good and light or evil and darkness.

Dimash begs each of us, regardless of race, religion, etc., to WAKE UP and stop the insanity before it’s too late!
