- In this video Lazze shows how a mistake in one of his hands-on classes has led to another interesting design detail that you can use on your own projects.
You can use this technique on any bead roller, english wheel, and shrinker/stretcher.

Very nice work and your videos are great!
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
That is a fantastic looking tank side.
You are a true artist.
Amazing work!!
Sir your very professional to do that kind shape......... thank u for sharing your video......
Tanks 4 sharing it!very inspiring!
Lazze I love it!!!!!!!
Nice work!
This guy is awesome!
Thanks for the lesson..
Awesome!!!
Hey lazze, couldn't you put a nut on the threads of the bead roller depth tightener? That way when you tighten it down you can use the nut as a stop.
Great idea - and it is a great solution to ensure consistency while making a bead pattern. Using a nylon or plastic nut would probably be the easiest so it doesn't corrode in the 'storage,' position, when not being used. Thank you for the suggestion.
awesome, Am I the only one thinking interior door panel?
This will be f'n sweet for my Mr. Peanut chopper!
yes, Really neat design! ;}
With the wheels in this position, how do you know where the ridge will be? Should the metal wheel be on top so you can follow the lay out lines? I am totally new to this and have never done anything like this. Excuse me if this doesn't make sense.
nice
One of your best vids yet! What about polished SS as opposed to chroming?Could you make the outers from SS and weld to plain steel inner?Or just do the whole thing from SS,I guess.
You can use any material that your machine can handle. Stainless reacts differently in the English wheel and in the bead roller and there is a learning curve. I am teaching the process, giving some ideas, and making the machines - what you build with them is up to you!
lazzemetalshaping I saw one of your other vids with the awesome pattern on SS,but can you weld SS to mild steel with no problems?Thank You.
Bow Tie with tig or oxy/fuel maybe
what is the machine that your using?
What thickness of material can you use? does it depend on the machine or do you use 18 ga. or thinner to get crisp bends?
Material thickness is dependent on the machine and what you're making. We can get crisp beads by replacing the urethane wheel with the matching female die. We can also get a softness in between the two by using different male and female die combinations, which you can see in this video ruclips.net/video/3FCisi2-k5I/видео.html
Hey lazze do you have any special suggestions for choosing a proper polyurethane wheel? Where can I buy one ? Skateboard wheels a good option?
Michael Elm A skateboard wheel is what we used when one of my students showed me. Skateboard wheels are fairly easy to find, inexpensive, and are made/sold in different hardnesses. The challenge is that the inner bushing is typically plastic, and for thicker gauge material only worked for several meters of bead before 'walking,' off the bushing or shaft. They are good for experimenting and once you've found a hardness you like. Contact local suppliers and see if they make a polyurethane rod or cylinder that fits your machine.
I like
is there aluminium sheet as u used there???if its not then which material have you used?
Thank you for the question, that was done in steel. The materials I use are all covered in this video: ruclips.net/video/erHSsQQXrhI/видео.html
