This is specifically the sound i was looking to hear from the octatrack, to actually be convinced that getting it is a life changing investment. Thank you so much for showing your work and how you perceive beauty through sound. Drums are sounding crisp, your way of playing aroung with the patterns and the composition is extremely on point and the energy is very high. Much love and appretiation from another live performer fellow.
@@frenklivjero thank you so much for these kind words the octatrack has become an essential part of my setup in the last couple of years without it I cannot produce music the way I do. It takes a while to learn it but worth all the time spent on it. I would highly recommend it to anyone
Man! this is awesome! I haven't heard a better live for a long time! I am only surprised how you can sit so calmly playing these tracks :D I'm waiting for a longer live! set :D Nice!!!
Thanks ! Yes so every bank is a new track and every pattern has a specific part assigned to it. I Usually reserve the 1st pattern of every bank as a transition from one track to another. So as i'm transitioning i'll have one track that's playing a loop from the previous bank and i'll start mixing in the elements of the new track to my previous track. The 2nd pattern of the bank is a short break and the 3rd pattern is usually the main idea behind the track that I have prepared so in other words the full track. I usually have somewhere between 4-8 patterns per bank each pattern is doing something different.
@@raldhaen Oh I see, I should probably start experimenting with the recording slots, I believe one can switch banks and keep the same slots so in a way you get a continous sounds, could be interesting
