    Great job! Much admiration! (by yourself too) I had to pay the local rip-off company in town to drop my truck. $1500 for a 3/5 drop. Dropped my truck at 9 in the a.m. and picked it up at 7:30 p.m.

    Do the shackles that come in the kit go In front of axel or behind

      Should of taken saw zaw cut bolt head off and just replaced that bolt and put it back in opposite way so nut was facing tank much easier! bolt at hardware store 10 bucks tops

      You dont have too, but it would give you more travel, I had about 2 inches before bump stops, didnt bottom out unless i was going fast over a big hole

      im guessing thats why they include longer shackles. yes you should notch the frame but unless you can stand bottoming out the odd time no you dont.

    8:30 dude i know I hate that. they must build the truck in factory by putting gas tank in before springs. this happened on my jeep and we simply cut the bolt instead of removing tank. much easier, time saving, and few bucks tops for another bolt.

    How much is the back lowering kit

      @@rockitgarage23 so it was only $180 in part to lower front and back or just back. I have v6 2005 ford 150 and considering lowering it

    How much does your truck measure from the ground to top fender from the back? That’s like a 32 or 33?

      Not sure what it measured, I dont have the truck anymore, the tires where lik 33 inches tall I believe

      @@JoseRamirezg19 would probably be to wide, might hit the lip of the fender or bedside, depends on your offset. But I would say not with what I had set up

      @@JoseRamirezg19 rear I would recommend, if you want the better ride quality from shorter shocks, and more range of travel

    Does that streetedge right great? And do you think belltech would ride better? I’m thinking of going with Crown suspension. But don’t know if it rides better and if there’s a diffrence?

      If I remember when I chose that kit, it was the same part number as bell tech, so most likely the same product, just non name brand. Rides same as stock but not as much up travel.

      @@nickolasbarba2338 not at all, front was bell tech, and road just like stock it lowers by placing the coil lower on the strut, depending on how many spacers you use, 3"drop - all the way to 1" lift.

      Alright well I’m going to run the exact set up. But the back I’m going to use crown suspension. Thanks I think I have watched your two videos about 1,000 times because you’re the only person on RUclips who did videos on this!!

      Street edge had same part number as belltech I believe. Like $180 I used the same shocks at first.

      Nicholas Inca, flip axle perch, bump stops, u bolts, and the plate for the u bolts, pretty simple kit, I used my shocks, but would recommend new lowered shocks

      Would definitely hit frame on axle, would need a notch of some sort.

      @@rockitgarage23 I have the exact same truck with 2 inch lowering shackles but I have a choice for 1 or 2 lowering so I’ll probably move it to one inch lowering and hope I don’t hit 😂

    What did torque specs did you use for the rear suspension?
    How has the truck been since you dropped it?

      , I honestly dont remember I torqued it twice when I first did it and 500 miles after.
      Rides great only bottomed the back out 2 times both on huge pot holes

      Yeah it would have been easier to cut the bolt, but I'm stubborn and took the hard way, to do it again would cut the bolt and be done with it.

      Chaotik Zs it was a streetedge flip kit, got it on eBay. The front I did with belltech stuff

      No, cutting the head of the bolt and replacing it with a grade 8 bolt is the easiest way.
