- Just had a walk through the Tenderloin district. The claim is the Tenderloin is the most dangerous part of the city. I have to agree.
What I accounted for was the vast amount of trash and vagrants that inhabit the sidewalks.
What I stupidly did not account for was the gang members, who don't allow filming in their hood, 1st Amendment be damned.
As I was walking away, one crossed the street and followed me.
I let him talk his $hit, threw him the peace sign and walked away.
Kensington street of the west
Its gotham city down there. Glad to see your walk. What do you mean when you mentioned the tenderloun is A1 free zone? I lived there in the area 30+ yrs ago. Left san fran wihout regrets and thriving. Wont put my feet down to sf if i dont need to. Much better town and communities outside of san fran.
Perfectly said. San Francisco, and more specifically The Tenderloin, is like Gotham City...without Batman's help.
By 1A free zone I meant I meant you can't exercise your 1st Amendment rights, in my case, recording anything I can see in plain view in public, without the threat or actual violence acted upon you as the gang bangers near the end showed.
Thanks for watching. Hoping for meaningful change in San Francisco and CA as a whole, but it's going to take Californians waking up and acting responsibly on election day.
@@TimAlcoser , ahhh got it. I thought it meant city regulation addendum. 👍👍👍🥂
was that cop really smoking a cigarette??? LOL
Working Tenderloin in a department like SFPD must be one hell of a stressful job. I don't know any cops that smoke anymore, personally.
Thank your lucky stars you didn't get physically attacked. If your going record the Tenderloin, don't make it obvious.
Was willing to take the risk, personally, to show people what's going on. I had multiple ways to lawfully defend myself if it came down to it, although that was the last thing I wanted to do.
All that heavy breathing
Fighting a cold that day. Also adrenaline was up a bit in anticipation...
What that guy said to you was true. You shouldnt be over there. Go home and record your own problems.
