I have the steampod 3.0 and this 4.0 version definitely gets the roots better! Loreal is dragging their feet releasing this in the US though. I love Steampod! It's the iron I reach for the most.
Does the straighten last?
@@izinspired7455 Yes! And the hair feels silky and hydrated and I have rough textured hair due to the hard water I have and you wouldn't even know after using this iron.
How long does the straighten last?
Love the results. The steam technology reminds me of the Maxiglide that I had a while back. It had plates with teeth so you didn't have to do the chase method.
I thought the same thing. Almost bought a MaxiGlide back in the day
Have you noticed that there is a direction? the comb should be downward for the steam to be applied first and then the heat.

Your hair is soo gorgeous !! 😍🥰 tbh your bottom section of the hair is very puffy instead of straight so I don’t think the steam iron was that successful but I think the top half looks shiny and there IS movement so it’s definitely an asset to a style. ❤

Your hair is really strong and coarse so it works well for you, but it's a bad idea for probably 90% of type 4 girls. That thing would rip my hair out. But I support you, congrats on the endorsement
The teeth are removable and it also comes with wider comb attachments. I went for the smallest attachment xx

@@user-um7tw6kx4r6 Yes, be very careful if you have fine hair: I just fried mine on medium heat with the Revlon, couldn't believe it. Ruined two years of hard growth in one straightening try and had to cut off over 4 inches and the rest of my hair is ruined. Not worth it, fine hair people!
