Our son just started his Strider 12 Sport (2y11m and 31" tall), and we're noticing the back of his legs are rubbing on the 'stand' just below the seat (where toes could be placed when coasting). How should we correct for this? Seat height seems fine (legs are not fully straight, but bend is not too significant). Feet farther apart? Or move forward on the seat?
Hey Philip! Sometimes this happens until kids are fully confident and comfortable on their bikes. Our recommendation is to lower the seat a little bit. This will allow more leg clearance from the integrated footrest. Hope this helps!
@@striderbikes Thanks for the quick reply! I also found striderbikes.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/10968-A_Stride-Guide-English_181030.pdf which suggested the same. I also suspect we have the handlebars a bit low, which caused his upper body to lean forward a bit much and maybe legs to angle back more. We'll adjust and see how it goes!
Those are just helmets that they brought with for this shoot. We do offer some great child helmet options our website. You can view them here: striderbikes.com/buy/shop-all/accessories/strider-st-r-full-face-helmet/

Thank you. My 2 year old nephew is riding 12 inch model, I am planning to get him 14 in a year as his younger brother would be around 2 then.

how tall Corbin is?
We would guess at that time Corbin was 122cm tall. But the most important measurement is the inseam to determine proper fit.
@@striderbikes can you tell me how tall Corbin's inseam at that time, thank you 😊
What kind of Helmet are they wearing?

What is the age of kids?
We go over the age for each child throughout the video. Like we say in the video, inseam is more important than age.
I am disappointed that you hadn't shown at least one little girl on one of those bikes.
Some folks will literally be disappointed when it's beautiful and sunny outside.
great video!!! thank you so much!!
