People might be wrongfully saying Kenyan police liberated the hospital, but others are saying Haitian police did so before the Prime Minister's visit. Getting stability in Haiti will not just take police a lot is needed. First off the housing situation needs to be addressed, as gangs usually mostly hide in slums. Addressing the housing situation will take a lot of support away from the gangs. Then the poverty situation also needs to be addressed. If people have a place to live, and livelihoods gangs will lose further support. Cutting off supply of weapons also will weaken the gangs. Corruption I'm sure is a problem, and needs to be fought as much as people are fighting gangs. Other influence is also needed. If Wyclef Jean spoke fluent French, using him for philanthropic efforts in fighting poverty, and helping Haiti get better infrastructure could assist as well. No one thing can help Haiti. The country has many problems. It will take a concerted effort of many people helping tackle many of Haitians problems will help Haiti get better security. Tackling more of Haiti's problems will improve the people's lives. The US has been dumping money into Ukraine mostly to US defense contractors. An international effort to sincerely improve Haiti will improve the security situation, and the people's lives. The gang leader is trying to take advantage of a power vacuum. True power lies in helping people, and few can do such as most have ulterior motives.
For how long will it be liberated
Peace peace Haiti peace.
