And your statement on the news, nobody know your relationship between you and your sister but the family, But you had to say, you know we didn't get along like that, why did he bring that up at that time, That got nothing to do with what happened.. So let me get this right...he didn't have the decency to help out his blood sister, but he wants to shout out his non-profit to help the youth! Audacity is at an all-time high!! If you don't love your blood, you darn sho can't love strangers. 💔
He probably didn't have the time. But at the end of the day they all should've been more proactive about evading the fires beyond waiting till the last minute.
I know right... something is very off... he is asking money for his business and nothing for burial for his sister... ????
Why didn’t he even try to call her. Tell her to Get Out! We are Gone! It’s Pretty Bad!
Something Missing.
It was definitely the business shout out that threw me... further than I already was when he admitted to passing his sister's car then admitting to not getting along with her... I've officially judged his character. Shame on me, lol. & sorry to him that it's all captured in this video.
Yes he left her in purpose in my opinion ! If you listen he started off saying we didn’t always get along ! Wtf bro if this was a murder case on 1st48 you just told on yourself !
OMG 😱 You Left Your Sister Evelyn ? Unbelievable! Smh
Do you know the family?
Why did you guys leave Evelyn behind this is so sad
🤔Nah bruh, "maybe she thought it wasn't going to get as bad as it did"??? But he claimed to have seen her car. Did he not go and knock on her door to get out??? What about the shameless plugging of his business?? I apologize, but something is strange about his story. R.I.P. Evelyn🕊
He literally leave his sister behind knowing her car was still there when he left
True, but the chaos & pressure of the moment, people yelling we gotta go, tunneling thru the embers and planning to get out then record scratches “Evelyn’s car? Wait what?”
It’s like he couldn’t process that extra information in that moment.

Doesmt seem so. But the houses were close by im gusing or enroute since he drove by.

How do you not quickly stop to get a family member at least awake, on your way out? Omg
He said, "I know we didn't always get along". But even with that, I would have still stopped to go get my sibling. I think it's actually horrible he didn't go get her. And he on tv saying it also. Shame!

@OnMyGrindNowForever I definitely noted the 'we didn't always get along ' & connected to why he didn't at least try to call or text & see if he got a response.

I mean he said they went knocking on neighbors doors but didn't have 10 seconds to call their sister or quickly knock on her door. Also from what he said, it seemed maybe his other family members didn't get along with her as well. Because he said, "I just want you to know, you were loved" or something along those lines.
I just hope what I'm thinking isn't the case because if it is, then it's just sheer wickedness.

@@clutchmedia394 That’s the thing…not even the sister’s mother (His mother, too) checked on Evelyn. My little brother’s mother just died a few days ago from a drug overdose. Last week she beat my little 7 year old brother up, accusing him of using her drugs. My brother learned his mother’s died and asked my dad to find him a new mother. That girl was terrorizing her entire family, my brother and my dad. Nobody will miss her. I think the sister wasn’t so nice..

Not him promoting the buisness 😮😮😮
It’s shock maybe?
It’s tragic, I’m just not connecting why he didn’t stop really quick to make sure she was heading out. How do you keep driving past her house without wondering?? Clearly the “we didn’t always get along” hit harder in my spirit bc it seems like that’s exactly why he didn’t feel the need to stop. Maybe they were going through something. But he’s the man in the family, so I think he’ll live the rest of his life in REGRET, likely from repeatedly replaying in his mind the “driving away” aftr saving everyone but the one family member he didn’t stop to save …who then died. RIP
I'm confused. Did she know everyone else was leaving? If they assumed she got the alert did anyone e try calling? Sounds like there are multiple family members living in the same area.
He said he got all his family together but then mentions seeing his sisters car still in front of her house. Why on earth wouldn’t you check then and obviously you didn’t have all your family together cause you left one behind. I feel no sympathy for him!
Rip Evelyn and I’m sorry your family, ily left you behind without even checking on you before they left.
he probly assumed she was getting some last minute things and she was right behind him
She got the same alert as everyone else. He was concentrating on his grandmother 😢
Why would you leave her.

He probably thought his sister being around his age could have got out.. they were knocking on doors they lost NuNu.
I mean man why is people ridiculing this man .. They did all of this with out the assistance of first responders.. It’s Pitch dark from the smoke, coughing, eyes watering, 95 degree winds it was probably 900 degrees with the heat and embers from the flames all around them. Power lines are sparking all around them. I mean some of these people in the comments obviously have never been in a fire where they had to flee with the clothes on their backs… 😮 This wasn’t a Hollywood movie this was real life.. If the firemen 🧑🏾🚒who are trained at rescuing and fighting fires are having a difficult time what do you expect ordinary citizens should be able to do..?
I mean people are saying some of the most heartless comments.. oh because he and his sister didn’t get along he let her die, he didn’t love his sister😮 where is the humane compassion for these people . Has anyone else noticed the heartbreaking devastation, trauma, hopelessness of these people.. come on we have to show loving compassion.. I wonder how many people could brave those conditions and saved lives.. I noticed he said he went inside and got his mother who more than likely was in the living room so he grabbed her to help her .
He was man enough to go into a burning house to save his mother.. this man in my eyes is a hero and his cousin also.. he had enough for-thought to mention his charitable foundation helping at risk youths and people suffering with diabetes this was the perfect time to mention it because he was on national television.. maybe people who care about helping others will see his video and donate to his foundation.
No one failed to mention how other people are using this opportunity to steal, price gouging and take advantage of people in a time of need. The reporter asked him if he had anything else to say and he mentioned his sister and his foundation once again he is a loving individual still thinking about helping other in time of need. Thank you Jennifer Maria for your kind words.. 😊

Why is he promoting his program on the edge of his sister’s death. Sorry, but that is not right.
I know we all don’t know what we will do, but no one said a call to her personally. Was she in the house next door with the grandma/mother or another house? These haven’t gotten enough air time, we need to hear other stories without selfish self-promotion in the midst of a “loved” ones death.
This is the very reason this fire happened. It will haunt him for the rest of his days. Its like 9/11 when you hear of the numerous stories of how people had 2 choices, save themselves only or help others, go this way or go that way. That stuff sticks with those survivors to this day.
Agreed 💯
Totally agree. Selfish man.
This is unbelievable
Not blaming him…I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t at least call or check to make sure your Sister was alerted.. The exact same blessing that you were given by your friend.. especially knowing there were only a few precious moments to get out safe and obviously seeing her car should’ve been a reminder esp if the whole family was together, including the mother and the only person missing was the sister 😢
