Dude I took the 3.1 out of my 3ed gen and I'm dropping a 350 in and you've been beyond helpful.

You’re awesome man! I currently have a Camaro with a 2.8/700r4 that runs like crap. Gonna pull both and replace with a 3.1+700r4 from a 1990 Camaro. Can’t wait to be on the road with the Camaro again!

I NEEDED this video. My long lost 88 v6 2.8 5sp is coming home next week. Not mechanically inclined. Needed to know where to START.

I have a 89 camaro 2.8l v6 I turn it on and it works fine but after a while I turn it off and it doesn't want to turn on anymore it just starts but doesn't turn on and I changed the coil but it's still the same, do you know what the fault could be? someone told me it could be the crankshaft sensor but I don't know where it is located or if this type of car has a sensor why is it from a distributor

Could be the starter being heat soaked. Or an issue with the emissions system

    Good stuff.
If you get time, maybe type out your list and put it in the description. It was hard to make it all out on my phone.

I’m needing to figure out why my car won’t start, it’s an 88 with a 2.8 ltr. I’m planning on trying spraying the starting fluid but I’m not sure where to spray it on this engine

Well it would go through the throttle body but first you should try to figure out if it's starter related or fuel related or ignition/spark related.

TonyTheTechnician how should I go about doing that

For fuel you would want to make sure your getting pressure and if you are you would want to make sure injectors are firing. Also check your spark plugs and wires to make sure your getting spark. Also make sure you battery is good. Without know exactly what it's doing it's hard to say

Start by purchasing a book on the car. Then drain all fluids.disconnect battery. Disconnect all wires, lines and hoses going to the engine and label them with tape and what they are for. Then hook up cherry picker to support engine. Unbolt trans and torque converter if auto trans. Then unbolt engine mounts. You may have to remove radiator as well.
