- Cross into the world of the reimagined Camp Snoopy and become an official camper, joining Snoopy and the PEANUTS Gang for the camp's annual jamboree, a fun week of camp competitions and activities.
An off-road adventure, a new family roller coaster, a giant swing, and the carefree fun of summer camp bring so much to explore starting in 2024 at Knott’s Berry Farm next summer. Check out these exciting details about the six-acre, reimagined Camp Snoopy, the place where the iconic PEANUTS™ Gang made its first debut outside the comic strip back when it opened in 1983.
Inspired by the California High Sierras, Camp Snoopy allows campers of all ages to become full-fledged Beagle Scouts as they explore new rides, new character experiences, new entertainment, a new dining hall, camp store, plus more seating and ambiance.
SNOOPY'S TENDERPAW TWISTER COASTER
Begin your adventure at Beagle Scout Headquarters at the new Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster, where Beagle Scout Leader Snoopy and his troop will take you on a new first coaster experience through the forest.
Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister is the only family coaster that takes parents and kids up a lift hill and delivers a pint-sized launch, making this a first, big coaster experience for everyone.
SALLY'S SWING ALONG
Sally’s Swing Along is a new experience and offers a carefree break from camp life. Not your backyard variety, this super-sized swing set is big enough for the entire PEANUTS™ Gang!
Kids and parents can sit side-by-side on the giant bench swing and glide 10 feet toward the sky, back and forth, giggling and getting a taste of the good life.
CAMP SNOOPY'S OFF-ROAD RALLY
Rocky Mountain Trucking Company will be transformed into the new Camp Snoopy’s Off-Road Rally.
Jump into your own colorful four-wheel jeep, each themed to Snoopy or a PEANUTS character, drive through an expanded track and terrain, and race to the finish line.
BEAGLE EXPRESS
For a scenic journey throughout Camp Snoopy, campers will board the newly upgraded Beagle Express.
Take a locomotive ride through a series of camp vignettes, crossing over a covered bridge, watching as Snoopy and the PEANUTS Gang prepare for the jamboree events.

Let us know what you think of the new Camp Snoopy. Comment below!
It looks absolutely beautiful! It’s so much more neat and modern. It really make camp snoopy give more campy vibes especially with that beagle acres area. Thanks for posting this! ❤
@@mi_burrito The goal was to make it feel as if you were actually at camp with the Peanuts! Seems like they accomplished that!
He said, “ we listen to our guests.” Then why no theater? We have said that we want our entertainment back. Oh well. I am still excited to go see it and excited to see what or how they will decorate it for Christmas 😊
It's coming at a later date, they needed it open for scary farm as one of the entrances are next to the theater.
@@slumpdogytI haven’t heard anything like that. I am sure that one guy would’ve mentioned that, but I hope you’re right!
I believe Beagle Scout Acres is temporary. What will eventually go there, I am not sure.
@@theFUNnelCakeBlog lets hope they do, hope they get enough backlash
I was so happy to finally meet you guys! The camp snoopy area was so rough. It was advertised as family friendly, and it was not. The park looked great, but it was so sad. They need to stop calling that coster a family coaster. They also were not ready.
Nice meeting you as well! Thanks for stopping us to say "hello!"
My son and I just rode the new twister coaster. It’s perfect highly recommend it…my kid loved it. 🥰
You must be very small I couldn't get into it
I really like the Woodstocks in the tower and the water feature in the pond!
Great Video thank you very much :) I love Knotts so so much. Great growing up memories. Would love when our school would take us on those yellow busses.
I would go to Knott's every summer with my summer camp in elementary school! Definitely great past and present memories there!
Great video, can't wait to explore everything
Thanks for watching!
I can't wait to get back to knott's to ride it's newest coaster! (eve if its just a kiddie coaster haha)
If your over 6 feet or in a size xl clothing you won't fit
They did do a great job with the theming of the ride!
Too bad you didn’t press them on why this project was so botched and half baked. Seriously the swing has been in the lot for months and they couldn’t get it open? No theater? Really sad.
Hopefully we will see more investment and additions to Camp Snoopy next year.
You might want to let folks know that the Walter Knott Theater is showing the first two episodes of 'Camp Snoopy' from Apple TV+ at 2, 3, 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30. It's on the schedule through the weekend.
@@JaniceYamanaka pathetic they’re showing movies and not doing live shows in there.
The clips from the theater were edited and ready to be added. The video ended up being too long, added it to the weekend update.
@@MM-sh2uj I definitely miss the summer ice shows. But, if you have the chance, check out the Camp Snoopy Apple TV+ show, The first episode was really cute. I subscribed to see the other episodes! LOL
Happy "opening" day.... I'm really sorry for the experience.
Ps. Legit this is the willy's experience/ fyre festival of Knott's 😂
I enjoyed the opening ceremony and the children that were invited from the Boys and Girls Club seemed to have a really good time.
Great video. Thanks for sharing all the info.
Thank you! See you soon!
The Opening Ceremonies focused only the “SNOOPY'S TENDERPAW TWISTER COASTER “ and the “CAMP SNOOPY'S OFF-ROAD RALLY”
Sally's Swing Along is not open yet. The Beagle Express also did not open on Media Day, it opened Saturday. The Swing was still behind construction walls, so there was not much to see. We will be back to ride the Beagle Express during the week!
I saw you, but I didn't want to leave the line for the new coaster.
Ha! I don't blame you! If you see me again, say hello!
There’s no way Ken fits on the Tenderpaw Twister while he stands there saying “everyone can ride them together” and “we can all go on it as a family”. Knott’s is great, but you failed at making these quotes a reality.
The coaster is a tight fit and everyone is built differently, but the ride vehicles for Off Road Rally are much larger now, making it an easier for adults accompanying their kids. Sally's Swing Along is family friendly as well. In addition, the new Beagle Express has a car that can accommodate a guest in a wheelchair without having to transfer... making that ride accessible to more guests.
This renovation of the land is a complete joke. They learned nothing from Fiesta Village. Swing Ride should've been installed/open. Woodstock's Airmail shouldve been installed immediately. The loss of the new theatre for a zero shade seating area is tragic.
The Beagle Express opened on Saturday. The Swing should be open soon. From what I understand, Beagle Scout Acres is temporary. In the meantime, additional improvements to that area will be made.
I was there last Thursday at the grand opening of camp snoopy last Thursday
That’s it for the coaster? They need to make these ride a minimum of a 2 minute ride to make it worth the long wait times. That’s one of the reasons I don’t ride the pony express. A one hour wait for a 30 second ride? No thanks.
The coaster is a pretty standard length for one designed for children (even though, it is family friendly). It does go around the track twice, so, in total, its about a minute long. The space it fit in, was also limited. It is an improvement over Timberline Twister!
i am gonig to there tomorrw
Hope you had a great time. Thanks for watching!
Cool
Thanks for watching!
do you happen to know the height requirement for the coaster?
